i felt a smile form on my face as i got woke up to billie planting soft kisses across my face. i slowly fluttered my eyes open, and i was met by billie giving me a sleepy smile.
"good morning, baby," she greeted with a rasp in her voice.
"g'morning," i murmured before burying my head in her chest.
"how are you feeling?" she questioned.
"like shit," i whimpered with a pout. "my head hurts so bad."
she lifted a hand to cup the back of my head. her thumb gently rubbed it. "you were so gone last night," she teased with a laugh.
"shut up," i mumbled as i held her tighter. "never again will i get drunk."
"you say that every time."
"shut up," i continued to pout.
she pressed a kiss to the top of my head, my temple, and two to my forehead.
she's the cutest.
we laid in her bed for a while. she held me pretty close to her the whole time. she kept pressing kisses to my head, which was pretty great.
after a while though, we got up to brush our teeth and do our morning routine. we brushed our teeth together.
as she was putting away her toothbrush, i noticed that her knuckles were busted. i furrowed my brows, because i know that they had healed from when she fought leila; i was the one who was stuck with cleaning them until they healed!
she whined like a baby every time i had to put the ointment on them, and she insisted that i had to give her kisses afterwards.
"what happened?" i asked as i looked up from her hand to meet her eyes.
"huh?"
"your knuckles; what happened?" i questioned again.
"oh. that," she let out a small, nervous laugh. "so, you see, what had happened was..."
i stared at her expectingly. her eyes widened before she made a beeline out of the bathroom.
i'm not about to chase her ass around the house; i'm too hung over for that shit.
i let out a sigh as i trudged out of the bathroom. i walked over to her bed. i crawled back in it, and i got under her blankets.
i grabbed my phone and turned down the brightness. i went to mine and billie's messages, since i knew she had her phone on her.
