I want to live in films
it's so much easier
than reality
you can rise higher
you can reach the sky
you can be whoever you decide
just pick a role
but isn't that what
we all do?
with every decision
we make
we choose our role
the role of our life
and till our end
we hold on to it
cause it gives us safety
we're playing our life
don't get that it's ours
cause it's not
it's the life from
the character we chose
if I could switch
films and reality
I would
in films there is
a happy end
there's love
and sunshine
and braveness
in our world
there is
nothing but greyness
all the colours
from the screen
turned into black
into grey
no feelings
just empty bodies
doing the same
day after day
cause we chose
our role
the role of our life
it's not about the plot
sitting in front of
the screen
it's about
the way
they scream
in the horror scene
someone said
we travel with books
we do
we can travel with films
for a short time
we're the
pretty princess
or the strong fighter,
we are the villain
or we are the hero
we are whoever
we want to be
cause we choose our role
in the end
we realize
that the world
is not a setting
we have the chance
to choose once
to choose
the role of our life
to choose
one from five
not from a million
but a hand full of dreams
and what are we doing?
we're throwing them away
for a little bit
of safety
our fears
grow faster
than our dreams
so we choose
to be
someone else
we bend ourselves
till it ends
and that's
the role of our life
a little sunshine
a piece of luck
covered by the clouds
hidden in grey
but we choose
and we choose wrong
again and again
until there's nothing left
but the role of our life
