#28 We'll all burn

Don’t you close your eyes
When everybody lies
Pretend to do enough
But the situation is still tough
It won’t be better
If it doesn’t matter

Don’t you look away
Don’t just pray
First step to go
Is starting to know
That we must act
And accept the fact
That the world will burn
If we don’t learn

Don’t you walk on
Or all hope is gone
When all people say
Everything is okay
Neither listen to them
Nor the system
Because climate is hot
There is no perfect spot
To hide from the change
And turn the page

Open your eyes
Open your mouth
To the burning skies
The damage in the south

Nature is fighting
to gain back control
But we must stop acting
like complete idiotic fouls

Fire, water, earth and air
All fighting to remain
Attacking the bad
Can't you see it?

Wildfires in Australia
Floods in Kenya
Earthquakes in Algeria
Hurricanes in Malaysia

What are we all waiting for?
Leave your car behind and go
By bike, by train or by bus
Everything else is a little bit sus

Do whatever you think is best
But please don't copy the politicians
Who fly to the Glasgow Climate Conference
By plain, but complain about the rest

Don't stop eating meat neither
Do you think they will jump and sing huraay?
Chose the hunter and butcher instead
Who care about their health

If we continue like this
The world will burn
If we don't stop acting childish
The world will take its revenge

Imagine burning by fire
Burning by sun
Burning by hellfire
Sure the worst of all

So act if you don't care
Pretend to be cool
Never think about anybody else
Humans, animals or the world

Just lay back
Close your eyes
Relax and dream
While burning alive
