"We are still in the search of Clara Winston, the Queen of Nascadia, who has been missing for the past three months. If anyone has news, please report to the police."
"Clara Winston is still missing. The Royal Family has been searching the entire country for our queen, but no news have been found."
"As of now, Clara Winston is still missing. After her disappearance, no one has seen or heard about her. It is suspected that she could be dead, but a body has not been found."
I had been hearing the reporters repeat the same shit, but I still had no news of Clara. It's been three months since she was gone, and Thomas nearly searched half of the country with the team.
I shut the TV down and left the palace to head to Liford. I parked over to the side of the road, and my eyes remained on the house clearly before I stepped to the door. My father-in-law had his own search for Clara, and I knew that he would not say a word to me if she was found. He hated me to death and had the intention to split Clara and me.
I went to Liford weekly to check on news. Silas was the only person who didn't do any ridiculous shit. He updated me news about Clara, and it was clear that he was the person who truly cared for his sister. His parents only gave a damn when she was gone.
"Come in," Silas offered. "My parents are out. My father brought my mother to a business event. They didn't want to turn it down."
I let out a dry scoff. "It's only been a few months, and your parents are back to what they were."
He didn't say anything back, but I could tell he agreed. Silas took me upstairs to the office, and I stopped walking when I saw an opened door. From the strong floral scent, I instantly recognized it was Clara's room.
When I went inside, the room was coloured with light pink and white theme colours. The bed was made, and my eyes landed over to the photo of her. She was holding a balloon, turning her head to look back at the camera. Her smile was so fucking perfect, and I would do everything to have it back.
I held the picture in my hand, and Silas came over to me. "My sister never said that she never loved you. She's only nineteen. She doesn't know what love is. When she suddenly has someone to rely on, she didn't know if it was true love or reliance. She wanted to work her feelings out before she could tell you, but you never gave her a chance."
"If you want to blame me, then say it," I told him dully and placed the photo down.
"I don't have any rights to blame you," Silas sighed. "I don't know what you've been through or what happened in the past, but I hope you realize that Clara truly loves you. Whenever I see her talk about you, the smile on her face is the best one that I've seen. It was like you gave her the world, and I hope you continue to do that if we ever find her."
I tucked my hands in my pockets, turning away from him. Silas and Clara were the same as each other. They only looked on the good side of people, and not even a hint of evil was found in their hearts. Clara was sent to me, but I pushed her away after everything she had done. She gave me the happiness that no one else did.

"The new marriage law will be legal soon," Ivor informed. My eyes scanned the files in front of me as my fingers went over my lips. I rested my elbow on the arm of my leather chair.
I nodded, tossing the file to my desk. "Make sure it's stated clearly that all the marriages will be monogamous. If a man wants to marry someone else, he needs divorce first."
"I will emphasize that and send it to the governor. The law will be announced in the upcoming days."
I shut my eyes, my finger and thumb rubbing my temple. Silence fell into the room until Ivor spoke again.
