I scrolled through my phone, picking a new wallpaper for my phone. Hayden and I had many photos lately. He despised taking photos, but he was always willing to have pictures with me. He barely smiled in them, and nearly every image showed that he looked over at me instead.

He kept a photo of me for his phone wallpaper. He didn't had anyone else on, including himself. I asked him to change for some family photo, but he declined. My heart swelled at his bias for me. It was like he saw no one else.

Hayden came out of the shower and changed into his casual t-shirt and sweatpants. He caught his weight on his palms, slotting me in between his arms and kissing my cheek. I kept my eyes glued to my phone and smiled at the photos.

"What are you doing?" I laughed, feeling his lips over my neck as he started to suck onto my skin. I tried to push him away on the chest, but he caught my wrist.

He didn't want answer me, continuing to tease me with his hard kisses. I dragged my bottom lip between my teeth and clenched my fingers around the fabric of his t-shirt.

"Babe," I breathed.

My phone slipped from my hand, and before I could search for it, Hayden captured my mouth in his, rolling his tongue over mine. He slid his hand upwards to my thigh then hooked his fingers around my panties.

I heard the ringtone echoed in our room, and I felt for my phone on the mattress. Hayden was occupied, not a hint of distraction. I was still trying to search for my phone, but he took in his hand, tossing it to his side of the nightstand.

"Someone is calling me," I whined, trying to reach for it. I still felt his neck claiming my skin, distracting me from even thinking properly.

"No one is calling you," he lied and pushed my phone away.

I laughed, tilting my head back as he returned his lips to mine, dominant and possessive. I managed to take my phone, looking over at the screen to see my mother calling me. I held my phone to my ear and stopped Hayden for a second as I answered.

"Hello, mother," I greeted. Hayden rolled his eyes as he laid beside me, resting against the headboard as he scrolled through his phone. "Is everything okay?"

"I want Hayden and you to come back for dinner tomorrow night," she demanded. "I haven't seen my grandchildren for a while. Your father and I miss them."

I remained silent. My mother had a huge bias for her grandchildren even if they were only the maternal side. I appreciated her love, but she occasionally used Hayden and me as trophies to show off to her friends. We grew tired of it, and Hayden despised how my mother talked nonstop about materialistic things.

"You don't want to see us anymore?" My mother suddenly questioned. Her voice was filled with disappointment.

"Of course not," I answered then smiled. "We'll come tomorrow night."

She was satisfied with my response then finished call. I sighed, dropping my phone to my side as I looked over at Hayden who was already staring at me. From his expression, I could recognize that he knew what I was going to say.

"It's going to be a short one, I promise," I sat closer to him, wrapping my arms around one of his and leaning my head down to his shoulder. "We can leave as soon as we're done."

"Your mother takes hours to talk about her accomplishments," Hayden remarked, kissing the crowd of my head.

I muffled a laugh then raised my head, staring back at him. I wrapped my arms around his neck, kissing his cheek. "What's your biggest accomplishment?"
