After pulling away from RIT last Saturday, the Colgate Raiders head to Burlington, Vermont to play the University Of Vermont Catamounts this weekend at Gutterson Fieldhouse this weekend. With 17:58 left in the first period, Robbie Stucker scored to make it 1-0 Vermont. With 16:53 left in the first period, Ben Raymond scored his first career goal to tie the game 1-1. With 8:18 left in the first period, Josh McKechney scored his first goal of the season to make it 2-1 Colgate. With 5:22 left in the first period, Nick Anderson scored his first goal of the season to make it 3-1 Raiders. Carter Gylander and Gabe Carriere matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 3-1 Colgate heading to the second period. With 18:35 left in the second period, Colton Young scored his second goal of the season to make it 4-1 Hamiltonians. With 2:22 left in the second period, Josh McKechney scored his second goal of the season to make it 5-1 Colgate. Vermont Coach Tood Woodcraft pulled Gabe Carriere out of the net and so, Tyler Harmon finished the game in net for the Catamounts. Harmon and Gylander matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 5-1 Hamiltonians heading to the third period. With 14:13 left in the third period, William Lemay scored to make it 5-2 Raiders. With 13:40 left in the third period, Phillip Legunov scored to make it 5-3 Colgate! Carter Gylander finished off the Catamounts and Colgate wins 5-3! Colgate improved to 2-0-0 on the season!
