With 18:23 left in the first period, Matt Verboon scored his second goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. Andrew Farrier and Zachary Borgiel matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 Raiders heading to the second period. With 18:30 left in the second period, Josh McKechney scored his third goal of the season, on the power play to make it 2-0 Hamiltonians. With 15:59 left in the second period, Max Newton scored to make it 2-1 Colgate. With 20 seconds left in the second period, Josh McKechney scored his fourth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 3-1 Raiders. Farrier and Borgiel matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 3-1 Raiders heading to the third period. With 15:15 left in the third period, Liam Walsh scored to make it 3-2 Colgate. With 9:29 left in the third period, Ben Brar scored to tie the game 3-3. With 5:35 left in the third period, Max Newton scored to make it 4-3 Merrimack. With 1:35 left in the third period, Ben Brar scored to make it 5-3 Warriors. Zachary Borgiel finished off the Raiders and Merrimack splits the weekend with Colgate by a score of 5-3. Colgate dropped to 4-1-0 on the season.
