After a horrible end of the regular season, the Colgate Raiders return to Class Of 1965 Arena to play the Yale University Bulldogs in the first round of the ECAC Hockey tournament. Mitch Benson and Nathan Reid matched zeros in the first period so, we'll skate to a scoreless, first intermission tie. With 8:27 left in the second period, Colton Young scored his fourteenth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 3:04 left in the second period, Reilly Connors scored to tie the game 1-1. With 52 seconds left in the second period, Colton Young scored his fifteenth goal of the season, on the power play to make it 2-1 Raiders. Benson and Reid matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 Colgate heading to a crucial third period. With 7 seconds left in the third period, Teddy Wooding scored to tie the game 2-2. Benson and Reid matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so, we'll play extra playoff hockey because of a 2-2 tie between Colgate and Yale. With 3:07 left in overtime, Josh McKechney scored his fourteenth goal of the season to win the game for the Raiders 3-2! Colgate leads the series 1-0 looking for the sweep tomorrow!
