After a discouraging loss last night, the Colgate Raiders return to Marquette to conclude the weekend series with Northern Michigan tonight. With 11:15 left in the first period, Hank Crone scored to make it 1-0 Northern Michigan. With 7:24 left in the first period, Michael Colella scored to make it 2-0 Wildcats. Carter Gylander and Rico DiMatteo matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-0 Wildcats heading to the second period. With 19:39 left in the second period, Colton Young scored his eleventh goal of the season to make it 2-1 Northern Michigan. With 18:33 left in the second period, Jeff Stewart scored his third goal of the season to tie the game 2-2. With 13:10 left in the second period, Hank Crone scored to make it 3-2 Wildcats. With 9:07 left in the second period, Trevor Cosgrove scored to make it 4-2 Northern Michigan. With 3:19 left in the second period, Josh McKechney scored his eighth goal of the season to make it 4-3 Wildcats. Gylander and DiMatteo matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 4-3 Northern Michigan heading to period number three. With 16:41 left in the third period, AJ Vanderbeck scored to make it 5-3 Wildcats. With 1:11 left in the third period, Garrett Klee scored to make it 6-3 Northern Michigan. Rico DiMatteo finished off the visitors from Hamilton and Northern Michigan wins 6-3. Colgate dropped to 8-12-0 on the season.
