After a disheartening loss in a shootout last Sunday, the Colgate Raiders return to Class Of 1965 Arena to play the best team in college hockey, the Quinnipiac Bobcats tonight in Madison County. With 19:03 left in the first period, Zach Metsa scored to make it 1-0 for Rand Pecknold's Bobcats. With 3:30 left in the first period, Wyatt Bongiovanni scored to make it 2-0 Quinnipiac. With 3:03 left in the first period, Ethan Manderville scored his second goal of the season to make it 2-1 Bobcats. Mitch Benson and Yaniv Perets matched zeros for the remainder of the first and the entirety of the second period so, we'll, head to period number three with Quinnipiac up 2-1. With 11:24 left in the third period, Zach Metsa scored to make it 3-1 Bobcats. With 4:33 left in the third period, Oliver Chau scored to make it 4-1 Quinnipiac. With 1:37 left in the third period, Guus van Nes scored an empty net goal to make it 5-1 Bobcats. Yaniv Perets finished off the Raiders and Quinnipiac wins 5-1. Colgate dropped to 8-13-1 on the season and 3-6-1 in ECAC Hockey play.
