Paul McAvoy was born in Hillsboro,Ohio and is the son of Bill and Cindy McAvoy. The same is the situation with Paul as it is with Josh McKechney as they are both graduate students. In August of 2017, Paul McAvoy came to Colgate University and has also become a household name in ECAC Hockey. In 154 games in maroon and white, Paul recorded 21 goals,20 assists for a total of 41 points for the Raiders over five years at Colgate. Receiving a Masters of Arts in English, Paul will officially leave Colgate in May. Ladies and gentlemen number five, the captain, Paul McAvoy! Oh captain my captain!
