After a close encounter last Saturday, the Colgate Raiders open Class Of 1965 Arena to play the Merrimack Warriors this weekend in Madison County. Carter Gylander and Hugo Ollas matched zeros in the first period so, we'll skate to a scoreless, first intermission tie. With 9:44 left in the second period, Tommy Bergsland scored his first career goal to make it 1-0 Colgate. With 8:20 left in the second period, Max Newton scored to tie the game 1-1. Gylander and Ollas matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so, we'll play some 3 on 3 overtime hockey because of a 1-1 tie between Colgate and Merrimack. With 2:47 left in overtime, Colton Young scored his third goal of the season to win the game for the Raiders 2-1! Colgate improved to 4-0-0 on the season!
