C.2: Dimples?!

Previously...
"Um.. Do you want to be friends?" A blank expression planted on his face.

"Yeah!" I said to quickly. Blushing I looked down at my feet.

"Well catch you later!" I said walking away quickly.

As I left I saw the faintest smile on his lips. Sitting on a corner I felt giddy inside.

Ten minutes an examiner arrived.

"Hello my name is Satotz and I'll be your examiner for Phase One. Now follow me, if you can."

Oh my God near the door there's a little bean man in a tuxedo! So cute! I might die from his adorableness.

Everyone started following Satotz. In the distance I spotted Killua talking with a boy with spiky black hair and green tips. I hurried my pace to try and catch them. When I was near them I poked Killua on the shoulder.

He grabbed me by the neck almost killing me. I made choking noises as I gasped for air.

"Shit! April I'm sorry I didn't know it was you!" Killua said losing his grip with a look of regret.

"Nice way of making friends Moro- I mean Killua." Killua rolled his eyes and the boy with green hair tips smiled like I wasn't just almost killed before his very own eyes. He looked like the kind of guy that's adorable and cute but would kill you if you took what belonged to him.

"Hey I'm Gon what's your name?" He said cheerfully.

Awww! Even his voice is adorable.

"April, April Acciai." I smiled politely.

"Killua, April lets all be friends!" Gon said.

"S-sure" What am I supposed to say when someone asks me to be their friend? My palms became sweaty and I started biting my lip. Ugh why am I so nervous.

Killua just nodded in agreement.

Two guys came walking towards us. They both greeted us. The tall one with a blue tux is called Leorio. The shorter blond one is Kurapika. He is quite the looker if you know what I mean.

Out of nowhere Leorio blasted running past us. Leaving his suitcase behind.

Suddenly Gon took out his fishing pole.

Wait what... Why does he have a fishing pole... I shook my head chuckling. People are just unique at what they bring to the Exam.

First, juice cans. Then, a skateboard and now a fishing pole. What else will they bring.

With his fishing pole he caught Leorio's suitcase.

"Let's race, whoever wins the loser has to buy them lunch." Fuck. At the mention of food shit got serious.

"Ok but just know this just got serious." I smirked playfully.

When we started running I saw Killua looking at my cheeks. Weirdo...

Shrugging it I kept running.

When I saw the sunlight on the mouth of the tunnel I ran faster. Feeling the warm breeze of fresh air against my skin.

"I won" we all said at the same time.

We started arguing about whom had won but we ended deciding to call it a tie.

I glared at both of them. I was being dead serious when I said that I take competitions that involve food to the extreme.

"What are you glaring at, Dimples?" Killua said smirking.

Wait what! What did he just called me? Dimples? Oh... Fuck! He saw them and I was trying to hide them. I didn't want anyone to see them. I frowned.

I hate them.

"What did you just call me?"

"Dimples." He said casually.

I hate it! Oh he will pay. Just wait Killua I will get you back! Just you wait...

Gon broke the silence. "Guys, Satotz is giving new instructions." I nodded stepping closer to the examiner.

Satotz started explaining how we were going to follow him again but this time we couldn't be naive. There were a lot of tricksters in this forest. Just as he said that a guy came and started babbling crap about Satotz being an imposter.

Nope I trust my gut and I know which one is the real one.

Then a magician/clown threw some cards at both the 'examiners'.

Wait... Cards? Oh! Things are getting interesting.

The real Satotz obviously caught them. The other tragically died. Not really but to me it was. Rest in pieces.

Hisoka that's the name of the magician/clown. His name sounds like one of a laundry detergent.

I was deep in thought thinking for a nickname that would make Killua regret calling me Dimples.

'I guess I'll figure it out soon.' I thought

Satotz continued with the next with all the examinees following behind.
