As I woke up I could see the sun was still rising. I rolled over and saw a figure laying next to me. Then I remembered that Vanessa, Emily and Alissa had spent the night.
But only one of them was laying beside me, who I assumed was Emily because of the dark hair.I got out of bed and went to the bathroom.
When I came out, Emily was no longer in bed. I quickly changed out of my pajamas and put on a tee shirt and jeans.
As I walked down the stairs I could smell the aroma of freshly cooked pancakes.
"That smells good!" I said as I walked into the kitchen.
"It should! Today I decided I should go with a fancier version of pancakes!" Vanessa paused for effect. "Pancakes with chocolate and strawberries!!!"
"Ooooo, killem!" I said laughing. Vanessa gave me a face I couldn't quite understand but then Alissa came down the stairs with Emily.
"Yummy, pancakes!" Alissa said a smile on her face.
"Where were you guys?" I asked Emily as I sat down in a barstool.
"First, where on Earth did you get chocolate chips?" Emily asked excitedly. That was a weird question.
"Ummmm, probably a grocery store?" I said.
"Actually, I won them at a contest! They aren't real of course, but they have some sort of artificial sweetener." Vanessa said as she laid down a plate of pancakes in front of us.
"Now answer my question." I said turning to Emily who was on the barstool next to me.
"Oh, we were in your brother's room trying to wake him up, but he wasn't in there."
WHAT THE FRICK!!! I DO NOT HAVE A BROTHER!!!
I took a bite of my pancake and I started seeing stars.
"Britney?" someone said getting closer to me.
I started seeing the table turn sideways as black dots danced at the edge of my vision.
"BRITNEY!" was the last thing I heard as I felt my body tumble off the chair and into the floor.
