"Britney, are you okay?" I heard Vanessa say.
I opened my eyes to see her leaning over me.
"Ya." I said sitting up to fast and I started seeing stars.
"Lay back down!" Alissa said as she kneeled right beside me.
I lay down and I could see that I was on the couch in the living room.
"Where's Emily?" I asked.
"Here!" I heard her say. I glanced over the couch and could see her working in the kitchen. She walked out and handed me a cup of water and 2 pills of ibuprofen. I took them and with the assistance of Vanessa, I sat up.
"What happened?" Alissa asked.
"I don't know" I answered and I honestly didn't.
"People don't just faint out of no where." Emily said knowingly as she went back into the kitchen.
"Well I did." I said trying to get off of this topic.
Emily walked back out with a tray of sandwiches. Everyone took one and started eating. Except for me.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"About one." Alissa said handing me a sandwich. Wow, these last few days I've probably been more asleep or passed out than awake.
I took a bite of my sandwich and remembered I had a brother. That's probably why I fainted! But usually when I get really shocked I don't just faint. Weird.
"So what time do you want to get ready to go on your date?" Vanessa said bringing me out of thoughts.
"About 4:45?" I responded.
"Sure!" Vanessa said.
"Do you know where my brother went?" I asked them because I had no idea what age he was and Emily said earlier they couldn't find him.
"He's out with his friends." Emily said from the kitchen.
Well that defiantly defines his age. Anywhere from 10 years old to 100 years old. At least I know he isn't really little. Well, that's assuming "out" meaning not at a kiddy birthday party
