I struggled as I was turned around. I was now face to face with I the guy that as in all my pictures at home.
His face looked angry.
"You skipped class without me!?"
Scared I tried to back up but his grip around my waist strengthened
"Not really... I...I just got up late" I stammered
His started laughing and I blushed with embarrassment.
"You are so gullible!" His friends around him were now laughing.
Mad and embarrassed I pushed his arms down and entered English.
I wasn't in the mood for stupid boy games.
"Britney! I'm sorry! I don't know what I did" he said laughing.
"Maybe her parents, I mean mom, found out about last night." One of his friends said to him.
Only my mom? What about last night?
I gasped out loud.
Why did I not see my dad this morning? He always makes my breakfast.
Damn it I forgot to eat breakfast.
"What?" My boyfriend whose name I didn't know said to me.
"Nothing" I answered as I stared at nothing in particular.
"Really, what?" He said sliding into my seat next to me. His face was filled with concern which made him look really cute.
"He said only my mom," I said.
My boyfriend turned his head.
This was panicking me, the silence.
"What happened to my dad?" I asked nervously.
"Hey, Austin!" Another friend said to him but turned away when he saw my face.
My palms were sweating and I was now filled with anxiety.
"Austin, please answer me!" I said as I could feel my face turning white.
He now looked into the distance.
Biting his lip, Austin finally answered,
"He's dead."
