Fred left his car in the parkway before taking long strides across the road, trying to figure out which of the building was Jamal's residence.
He needed to do what he was sent to do before it was too late, the traffic on the road was damn exhausting and long, in addition to the difficulty of following the description given to him by Sarah.
He had to use the GPS when he was finding it difficult to locate the area. The GPS stopped walking at a point and he began to use his disction. He almost gave up on the way but he didn't. He was bent on achieving his aim before going back to England.
He wanted to hate Akeela but it was impossible. Sarah still wanted Jamal and they were trying to have their partners to themselves with just an action that requires common sense.
He kept walking till he saw the big house with the number Sarah told me he could use to identify Jamal's new home.
Fred grinned in proudly in satisfaction. He puts the sheet of paper containing the address back in his pocket quickly. He took a step towards the building when his phone rang. He stopped walking to check the caller. It was Sarah.
"Are you there now?"
"Yes, I just got here now", Fred replied.
"Be fast about it", she advised him.
"Yeah", he answered softly and raise his head up to see a car approaching. The headlight shone on his face and he crossed his hand over his face to block the bright light. The light went down and he was shocked to see the car parked right in front of Jamal's building.
He realized the bride had arrived and he cursed beneath his breath before sprinting back the way he came.
"What happened?" Sarah's anxious voice boomed from the other side, reminding him that she was still on call with him.
"I'm few minutes late, Akeela is here", he announced loudly.
"Shit!" Sarah swore from the other side. "Did she see you?"
"No." He replied and stopped when he was distance away from the building. He twirled back to watch the car. It was waiting for someone to open the gate.
"Good, Just come back. We need a change of plan." She muttered and was about to disconnect the call when he asked her.
"Did you meet with Akeela too? Did you show her?"
Sarah was silent for a while before she responded. "Yes, I did. We did not meet but she saw it."

Akeela's tears stopped the moment the car pulled over in front of the house, her marital home. She raise her bent head and stare at the building while wiping her tears. She knew it was high time she stopped crying and face the reality of what was happening.Haneefah's hand squeezed around hers, giving her assurance. Rahma was also in the car but she wasn't saying anything to her, she wasn't telling her to stop crying.
Akeela had been crying from her room, even till she was taken downstairs where her parents had prayed for her before she was guided into the car to take her home.
Some older women were also there with her in the car but Akeela didn't know who they were. She was sure they were Jamal's relatives.
"This is home away from home", Haneefah said in assurance.
Akeela was glad that Haneefah was around that night. They hadn't talked about all that had been happening but her presence was soothing. She nodded in response to what her friend said as the gate to the house opened and their driver drove in. One person amongst the women had gone out of the car to open the gate.
