No More Pain - Part 2

 

I looked at him, tears still streaming down my face. His physical appearance still looked the same, just skin and bones, but his eyes were now open.

 

"Jacob!" I grabbed him and hugged him, while still being gentle with him. He hesitated a little, but he eventually hugged back.

 

He was still weak from the pain, I didn't expect him to get better right away, I just want him to get better period.

 

"Edward, can I speak with you for a moment?" THe Eldest looked at me with a relieved serious look on his face.

 

"Yeah, sure," I looked at Edward and then walked outside of the room while Sam rushed over to Jacob. When i closed the door i looked at the Eldest with a curious look.

 

"What's wrong?" I asked knowing something was up.

 

"Nothing is wrong, it's just that Jacob's healing level is going to go slower than planned. Because of your absence his healing power is irregular, and in order for him to heal correctly, he needs to be with you at all times." He stated, not really showing any emotion.

 

"But how? When his dad found out that I was imprinted by Jacob, he changed the treaty back to how it originally was, We're not allowed on your land, and you're not allowed on our."  He looked at me with a knowing look and smiled softly.

 

"Don't worry, i'll take care of it, but in order to keep Jacob healing correctly I suggest that he moves into your house, so that you two can be in eachothers presence at all times."  I smiled softly at the thought of Jacob living with me and being back in my life again.

 

Sam came out of the room, a paper cup in his hands.

 

"He wanted some water," he was about to walk off but then stopped and turned around. "Oh and he wanted you, Edward."

 

I walked into the room that Jacob was in and walked next to him in his bed and grabbed his hand. He leaned up on the headboard and looked at me.

 

"Edward, I know what i said the other day was-" I stopped him knowing that if he continues with what he is saying he will start to cry.

 

"Jacob you don't have to do this, not now, not ever" He looked at me and nodded his head while biting his bottom lip. "So I was talking to the Eldest out in the hall and he said that your healing is going to be irregular, and in order for you to heal correctly you have to be with your mate at all times."  Jake looked at me with a little worry in his eyes. "He suggested that you move in with me, until you are fully recovered." He smirked and looked down at the sheets, gripping onto his blanket a little bit tighter.

 

He looked over at the mirror the was facing him and a look of surprise took his face. He touched his face with his hand, as if it was some sort of alien skin on his face. I sat next to him while he was still looking at himself.

 

"I can't believe this happened to me," He looked like he realised something then looked back at me. "I can't believe I did this to you." He hugged me tightly and I felt his tears drip onto my shoulder. I hugged him back tightly trying to comfort him.

 

"It' okay, please, don't cry" He let go of me and looked me in the eye.

 

"Thank you," I looked at him confused and I guess he noticed because he just smiled and sighed. "For saving me, I told you to never come back here again and leave me alone. But you still saved me when you found out I was hurt."

 

"Wait, you thought I would just let you die because of a breakup, that's stupid." He looked down at the sheets on the bed blushing.

 

"So, i'm guessing that we're back together then?" I smiled at him and nodded my head.

 

"Yeah, we're back together." He smiled and hugged me, when he let go he leaned on my chest just relaxing there for a minute.

 

"I love you." He stated, with purity in his voice and I looked him in the eyes and smiled.

"I love you too."
