Jealousy

This chapter takes place 3 days after the last chapter, the last chapter was Friday and this chapter will start on Monday, and in this story Jacob goes to Edwards school as well, ok that is all!!!!!

Jacob's POV

I walked up to the school looking for Edward but I didn't see him anywhere. It's fine, I do need a little bit more time to think. I have been freaking out ever since the Eldest told us that me and Edward no longer have a connection, or may not ever again have a connection. That's why I have been avoiding him all weekend, I need to think about it. I just needed to think about everything. I have decided I will do everything I need to to keep our relationship lasting until I Hopefully imprint on him again.

By the time I was finished with my thoughts Edward and his siblings pulled up, and I was glad to see him. I really didn't enjoy ignoring him over the weekend, i'm just hoping we can just go back to business as usual and I won't have to work too hard to keep us going.

When he pulled up and parked, I pretended like I didn't notice him, like I always do, and pretended to focus on my book and my music. He usually came up and close my book because he knows it can annoy me. But today was different he walked up to me and closed my book and took it, and before I had a chance to react, his lips were on mine. It took me a couple of seconds to register what was going on but then I started to kiss back and we were having a full blown make-out session in the middle of the school parking lot.

After a couple of minutes I pulled away breathing heavily and I gave him a confused look.

"What was the sudden kiss for?"

"I missed you this weekend, it felt like you were avoiding me." He looked kind of sad but shook it off.

"No, no, ok yes but I just needed time to think about everything." He looked at me and gave me a soft smile.

"You don't have to lie to me, if you need some time to yourself just say it and i'll be out of your hair, but if you need me i'm right there." I nodded my head signaling I understood what he said and gave him a tight hug.

~~~LUNCH~~~~

I took my usual seat next to Jared, focusing more on my food than the ridiculous conversation that was going on at the table. I was able to peel my eyes from my plate of food and look over at Edward. Usually he would be in conversation with his siblings or looking down at his lap or at his phone but this time he wasn't talking or looking at his phone. He was staring at something or rather someone, when I followed his gaze I realised that he was staring at Mike Newton?!?!

Flashback

Ok ok, I went, now it's your turn. Tell me something that would attract you to someone?" we were playing this game like quiz, we each had to say something that we are attracted to.

"Fine, I guess I have always had a thing for Blonde and I kind of like it when guys let their hair fall just above their eyes, god you're making me sound like a boy obsessed teenage girl." I pretended to act hurt and we just both set there laughing for the next 5 minutes.

End of Flashback

I gaped at the thought of Edward actually thinking about someone else the way he thought of me. I shook off the though, I'm just over reacting because of this whole imprint situation.

The bell rang indicating that lunch was over so I hurriedly walked to my locker where Edward would meet me and we would walk to our 5th Hour together. When I reached my locker I switched out my books and everything and waited for Edward. When the bell was about to ring I decided to stop waiting for him and go to class and not wanting to be tardy.

When I turned the corner to go to my class I stopped dead in my tracks. Edward and Mike Newton were both entering the class talking and laughing with each other. I'm not that kind of person who wants to tell their boyfriend or girlfriend who to hang out with, but I do get pissed when they blow off our special after lunch walk.

I walked into the class and took my normal seat next to Edward. He grabbed my hand and I felt a little better but I was still mad at him. We ended up watching a movie and i cuddled into Edward and I could tell he was smiling, but only slightly. You could say now my anger has disbanded... for now.

~~~AFTER SCHOOL~~~

"So what are you doing today?" he looked at me and smiled.

"I'm going over to Mike Newton's house. We have a science project due in 2 days so we're going to be working non-stop."

"That sounds like fun." It honestly did sound like fun to me, I never actually made a science project before, my teachers were never that much into teaching. More like here are notes, here's a worksheet now do it.

"You could come with if you want?"

"Uhm... no thanks, I have lots of homework to catch up on from the days I missed and besides, it sounds like you guys are going to be jam packed with work." he nodded and looked at me again.

"You sure?"

"I'm sure," I started to lightly push him in the direction where Mike was standing in the parking lot. "Now go, do work and be miserable." He laughed and gave me a quick peck on the lips before running over to Mike.

~2 Hours later~

I threw my pencil down in frustration, I have been working on the same paper for the past 15 minutes and no matter how many times i looked over the note i still just did not get it. I finally just decided to give up and go get a snack from the kitchen.

I picked up my phone and made my way to the kitchen, while I was rummaging through the pantry I decided to what was going on with some of my friends on snapchat. I flicked through the pages on my phone until I finally found snapchat and opened it. It seemed like everyone was either going out and partying or just hanging out with friends. I just finished looking through Paul's snapchat and I was at the last one, Edward's.I always save his for last because he is the best in my eyes.

I flipped through his story, it was mostly just pictures showing how much work he had done on his project, and it seemed like it took a lot. I started paying less attention to it as I was still looking through my pantry for food. I stopped looking for food when I seen a picture of Edward and Mike at a local restaurant, normally I wouldn't care but the caption was what got me 'Out with this cute".

I didn't know how to react "Fine, I guess I have always had a thing for Blonde and I kind of like it when guys let their hair fall just above their eyes." those words kept playing over and over again in my head.

"If he wants a blonde, he'll get a blonde."
