sun-hee looked at gwi-nam as he held their hand.

"you can do this, all you need to do it run. i'll be with you" he said breathing fast.

"promise?" sun-hee looked at him and he nodded.

"i promise" he then gulped and waited until the area was somewhat clear before crawling out from where he and sun-hee were hiding.

"quickly"gwi-nam whispered helping sun-hee stand up before sprinting in the opposite direction of zombies.

sun-hee was never a fast runner but they had no choice but to keep up with gwi-nam. eventually though they had to let go of his hands to keep up, their legs were sore and tired as they ran dodging zombies along the way.

"the library, quickly!" gwi-nam yelled as they both ran inside.

"fuck!" gwi-nam cursed realising the library was just as bad as everywhere else.

he quickly kicked a zombie away from him, shielding sun-hee as more approached.

"this way"sun-hee  pulled gwi-nam' arm as they ran back out of the library.

they took the lead trying to look for a door that was unlocked and where there were no zombies.

as they ran, they quickly noticed an empty classroom and went to pull the door open. it slid open and they ran in, gwi-nam following closely behind.

their breathing was hard and they sat on a chair catching their breath.

"that was fucking close"they held their chest and gwi-nam nodded, his eyes closed as he also was trying to catch his breath.

"luckily there no-" he began but when he opened his eyes there was a zombie approaching sun-hee from behind.

they were completely oblivious as they were still catching their breath after sprinting for so long.

"watch out!" he then yelled leaping forward and throwing sun-hee out of their chair before tackling the zombie to the ground, if continued to bite him but he quickly used a chair to kill it.

sun-hee fell to the ground, their ankle twisting. they whimpered holding their ankle while also watching gwi-nam as he killed the zombie.

once it was dead, gwi-nam tossed the chair to the side before rushing to check on sun-hee.

"are you okay?" he asked looking down to see sun-hee holding their ankle.

"im fine, i think i just sprained my ankle" they said putting their foot out as gwi-nam brushed his fingers over their ankle.

"i think it is..ah im sorry. i didn't mean to push you so hard" he exhaled, clearly pissed off with himself.

"gwi-nam it's okay, you saved my life" sun-hee placed their hand on his cheek as he focused his gaze on their face, their eyes meeting.

"are you sure? you aren't annoyed with me right?" he questioned and sun-hee smiled while letting out a playful sigh.

"ah if you keep acting like you hurt me, im actually going to be annoyed" they chuckled removing their hand from his cheek.

he smiled in response before taking their hand and pulling is back up so that they were touching his face.

"what are you-" they raised an eyebrow and gwi-nam shrugged.

"your hands are warm, i like it" he had a slight smirk on his face as sun-hee scoffed before grinning.

"it's not my hands that are warm, it's your cheeks!" then squeezed his cheeks and he groaned slightly before laughing as they removed their hands.

"but seriously though yoon gwi-nam. never apologise, you protected me and i appreciate it. it's one of the reason that i like you...just make sure you don't get bitten though" they smiled.

"you know i'll never get bitten by one of those zombie bastards. im yoon gwi-nam it's you who should make sure you don't get bitten or sprain anymore ankles" gwi-nam teased before helping sun-hee take off their shoes.

sun-hee couldn't help but look at him lovingly as he removed their shoes and began to gently massage their ankle.

to be honest sun-hee didn't care about their ankle any more.

all they cared about right now was gwi-nam.

and how sweet he was to them..
