"So, what truly is love?" What is this, a philosophy lecture? You thought to yourself, shifting in your seat, ready to leave the lecture as soon as your professor dismissed you.

There was some silence as the professor looked for a volunteer to answer his question. Realizing this, you picked up your pen started writing nonsense on your notebook, hoping you looked busy enough for him to not notice you.

It worked, the professor had asked another person to answer the question. However, you felt like someone was staring at you. You turned to your right to find the only person who sat at the same table as you, two seats away, staring.

It took him a few moments, but he soon noticed that you had caught him and looked away as quickly as possible.

You also looked away, confused.

"Okay, see you all on Tuesday. Have a great day!" Your professor was already packing up to leave, a few of your fellow classmates going up to him to ask questions.

You packed your things up as quickly as possible, hoping to catch the boy who had been staring at you and find out something about him. Who was he and why was he staring for so long?

As soon as you were done packing up, you found yourself staring at the boy's back as he walked out of the lecture hall.

~ time skip, a couple days later ~

"Sorry but I have a five page paper due tomorrow and I only have the first draft done. I'll see you back at the dorm." You waved at your friend as she left the dining hall, switching your attention back down at your plate.

Hearing a familiar voice, you looked up again to see him walking in your direction. The guy from your psychology lecture. He was talking to someone, you suppose his friend. They sat on the table near yours, continuing their conversation.

"So how are you planning to ask her out?" You couldn't help but listen into their conversation, unconsciously leaning your body in their direction.

"I'm not sure yet. We sit pretty close in one of my classes, so maybe I can try to talk to her."

Is he... talking about me? You thought to yourself, scooting closer to their table to be able to hear anything else they were saying.

"Are you going to the game tomorrow?" The guy's friend changed the subject, making you curse internally.

~ time skip, again ~

Last night you had decided that you sit next to him and find out if he was actually talking about you with his friend the other day.

You arrived to your psychology lecture, walking past your regular seat and directly to him. He didn't look up from his planner as you pulled out the seat next to him, setting everything down on the table and getting ready for the lecture.

You look up at him, finding him already giving you a confused look.

"Good morning, everyone." Your professor entered the lecture hall, with only a couple students greeting him back.

And so the lecture started, and you didn't have time to look at the boy beside you as your professor started a very interesting conversation on pseudoscience.

Only after the professor dismissed the class did you turn around to look at him.

"You're Sun-hee, right?"

You nodded, but were also confused. How does he know my name?

"How do you know my name but I don't know yours?"

"We all had to say our names and something interesting about ourselves at the beginning of the semester..."

"Oh, well I guess I just don't remember your name."

"It's Cheong san. Lee Cheong san." You nodded, and you both began to pack your things.

You closed your bag, standing up and pushing your chair in as Cheong san finished packing.

"Well, Cheong san, do you want to go get coffee sometime?"
