THE FOUR KIDS WERE biking down the street towards the wheeler's house, conversing while doing so.
"Jay why didn't you help us with Max today! You laughed at us the whole time!" Dustin exclaimed throwing a hand in the air but quickly placed it back on his bike handle when he felt himself loosing balance.
"Says the one who literally shooed me away." The girl yelled back at the boy "I'm glad you took my advice and talked to her. But Dusty, imma be honest with you," She took a deep breath "how you worded that invite was terrible."
The curly headed boy scoffed "Whatever." he said dismissing the subject.
Suddenly Jayden heard a roar of an engine. She turned seeing the same blue Camaro that had almost ran over her yesterday morning. "Shit!" She yelled beginning to pedal faster "Hey guys!" she called to the boys who turned around seeing the Camaro on their tail.
"Go!"
"Mike, you need to haul ass!"
Jayden swerved her bike towards the side of the rode to get out of the cars way, only to have her bike tire hit a rock making her fly forward. She landed in a ditch not too far from her bike.
"Woah!"
"Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit!"
She looked to the side seeing the boys had followed her actions but getting less hurt. Which was unfair in her opinion. Jayden looked back at the car watching it zoom away, seeing Max's face turning to look at the four kids behind her.
"Holy shit!" Dustin yelled getting up, walking over to Jayden lending her a hand. The brunettes hand stung when touching Dustin's because of all the tiny sharp rocks that she had landed on. "Oh god your lip." Dustin mumbled pointing to Jayden's face.
The girl placed a finger on her lip flinching because of the stinging sensation that ran throughout her body.
