Did you tell him?

Of course I told him! When you get those head aches it's important.

"I WOULD LOVE TO" Jayden hesitantly smiled making Mike smile. "but I can't." She scratched the back of her neck.

"What? Why?" Mike exclaimed. "I gotta go to the basketball championship thingy." Jayden mumbled. "Chrissy asked me to come."

Mike sighed. "Okay, it's okay." He mumbled. "Tell me if you win though. And tell me who you got as Lucas' replacement!" She said overly-excited. She really did want to join them, but one: she promised Chrissy she would go to the game. Two: Steve and her are going to spy on Robin and Vickie.

"Okay." Mike said in a sulky tone before walking away. Jayden waved to him before turning and walking down the corridors towards the gym to meet Robin early.

On her way to the gym she passed multiple people. She took notice of the little things that they did. Some of the people probably didn't even notice that they did those things.

Like, everyday this guy stops this girl in the hallway, he gives her a granola bar and then they separate. There was this girl that would aline her steps with the straight cracks in-between the tiles. Most-likely a calming mechanism.

Finally, one she always noticed, was something about Max. Max always had her head phones in and most of the time she was listening to this one song by Kate Bush called Running Up That Hill. When Jayden first noticed it she bought a tape from the record store and listened to it when she got home.

First it became a thing she listened to every once in a while. Then she started bringing it to school, then everywhere, then she started to use it for background music during reading or homework.

Then, one night, she listened to it to help her sleep. Which was weird cause nothing ever helped her sleep.

It was comforting.

When the brunette finally made it to the gymnasium she found the band there as well as the cheerleaders. All except Chrissy which she found weird cause the blonde was always scared to be late to class.
