"So we're short-staffed." Silas hears his mother say as he walks down the stairs.

"Ok." He hears his father respond.

"I know your mother said that he cleaned up his act, but it's just not working out." Amanda sighs. "Yesterday, I caught him sticking his bare hands in the popcorn machine. It's disgusting."

"Mm-hmm." Daniel hums his eyes staring out the window.

"You know..." Amanda turns to fully face her husband. "Louie opened an underground casino in the break room."

"Yeah." Daniel nods making Silas chuckle as he walks down the stairs into the kitchen. He strains his ears wanting to hear their convo. "Wait, what?"

"As mush as we hate Kyler, Sam is gonna be fine. She can handle herself." Amanda walks to her husband. "Besides you should be worry about what you're gonna say to your son that happens to be in the kitchen."

"I know." Daniel sighs. Silas not wanting to talk to his father walks out the kitchen grabbing a water and his book bag.

"Bye mom." Silas kisses her cheek. "Dad." Silas just nods with a straight face before walking it grabbing his keys.

The parents of three watch their oldest son leave. Amanda gives Daniel a look. Daniel sighs. "He hates me."

"Hate is such a strong word." Amanda rubs her husband's arm. "Maybe strongly dislike is better."

"Not helping." Daniel glares at his wife.

"Cyber bullying is no laughing matter. Sending a cruel message to someone online can be just as hurtful as saying it to their face." The school counselor announces. Everyone was at lunch doing their own thing as she talked. "I'm not gonna name names, but the other day a mother called me up because her son was crying, after some kids online made fun of his facial deformity."

Everyone starts to stare at Eli making him shy away with a sad look on his face.

"It's the kid right there."

"It's the kid with the weird lip."

Silas wraps his arm around Eli's shoulders and pulls the boy to his side. He glares at everyone around them that look their way. "Do you want me to take out your eyes?" Some people were shocked to see how Silas treated the boy.

"You know, to me, your lip looks badass." Silas whispers in Eli's ear.

Eli felt his heart race as he looks up to Silas who sent him a comforting smile. Eli smiled back. That was all he needed to feel a little better about himself.

"Today, our goal here is to make this school a safe place for all students." The counselor continues.

"If you're sick of getting bullied, my karate dojo's looking for recruits." Miguel turns his body so he could look at the other three males.
