SILAS IMMEDIATELY regretted agreeing to go to Golf N' Stuff with Robby. He should've known that it was all some sort of set-up.

After training, all Silas wanted to do was tell Robby the great news about his back, but the boy had other ideas. He was so eager to take Silas out to the arcade. Robby was never eager to go to an arcade. He didn't like them much. He'd rather be somewhere more secluded, where it could be just the two of them.

As suspicious as he was, he never expected to see his twin sister and Miguel waiting on them.

"Robby. No." Silas protests, letting Robby's hand go, ready to leave the arcade. "I was having a really good day. I do not need to see her twice today. Especially against my will."

Robby gave Miguel and Sam an apologetic look before he rushed after Silas. "Silas, wait! Come on!"

Silas came to a halt in front of the entrance, turning to his boyfriend. "You said it was only going to be us two."

"I know. I lied, okay?" Robby sighs out. "Miguel and I just want you and Sam to finally talk—."

"I don't want to talk to her." Silas cut him off, shaking his head. "Not right now. I wanted it to just be you and I. I-I had something really important to tell you. Just you."

"And I want to hear all about what you have to say." Robby reaches out to intertwine their fingers again. "But I just want you to give her a chance first. Give this a chance. Think of this as a step forward for you and the dojo. You need to talk to her."

Is it bad that Silas almost felt disregarded in the moment?

He felt like Robby didn't really care about what he truly had to say, only him making amends with his sister for the sake of the future of the dojo.

It was all for the dojo.

Robby kisses the back of his hand gently. "For me, please?"

Silas silently debates as his eyes go from Robby's doe eyes and then to Miguel and Sam, who were acting as if they weren't eagerly looking their way.

"Okay, but I get something for this."

"You can get whatever you want." Robby responds, leaning up to connect their lips.

Silas hums into it, momentarily forgetting all about the feeling Robby had brought to him.

Maybe...just maybe he'll give this an actual chance, but only if Sam is willing to do the same.

In that fleeting moment, Silas's mind swirled with the weight of his emotions.

The reluctance to face his sister was deeply rooted in years of unresolved tension, and the unexpected confrontation felt like a slight betrayal of his trust in Robby.

Yet, as Robby's lips pressed gently against his, a sense of warmth and reassurance began to seep through the cracks of his apprehension.

Silas's heart ached with the conflict of wanting to be heard and understood, while also recognizing the importance of mending broken ties for the greater good.

He knew that this moment could be a turning point, not just for him and Sam, but for the future of the dojo and everyone they cared about.

The thought of reconciliation carried a heavy burden, but also the potential for healing and growth.

As Silas pulls away, he looks into Robby's eyes, seeing the earnest plea and unspoken love that lay within. He took a deep breath. "Alright. I'll give it a chance. But only if she's willing to meet me halfway."
