"OUR DOJO IS THE BEST IN THE VALLEY." Silas released a scoff, hearing Silver's words as he walks into the Cobra Kai dojo, standing in between Johnny and Chozen, with Amanda and Daniel on either side of them. His eyes instantly begin searching for Kenny and Tory.
"That's not true." Daniel says, all eyes snapping towards them. The students all stop their movements, their eyes falling on Silas. They send him looks of betrayal.
"And who are you?" The main man of the Sekai Taikai organization, questions them.
"I'm Sensei Daniel LaRusso. Two-time All Valley Champion."
"Sensei Johnny Lawrence. Also two-time champion."
Silas stays quiet, hoping they'd skip over him, but with a soft nudge from Johnny, he lifts his head up, noticing all the eyes on him. All of them waiting for him to speak. "Oh, uh, Silas LaRusso-Kreese. I'm a student and a two-time All Valley Champion and trained in Tang Soo Do and Kyokushin Karate. Boxing as well, just doesn't sound as cool."
They all send him amusing looks, but he doesn't notice. He was too busy staring at Tory from across the room. Her eyes were calling to him. Almost, begging him for help. Silas immediately noticed how drained she looked. She looked so unbelievably exhausted.
Silas wanted to rush over to her and take her away, she didn't belong here. Cobra Kai was slowly tearing her up inside and it was only a matter of time until she couldn't take it anymore. He really needed to get her out of here. It's not safe for her.
"Amanda LaRusso, karate adjacent."
"Cobra Kai isn't the only dojo in the Valley." Daniel starts.
"So you represent another dojo?"
"Not just any dojo." Johnny answers. "As you can see, we have champions from the past two All Valley's."
The man's eyebrows furrow, turning his gaze to Silver. "You led us to believe that your dojo had all the titles."
"Honesty isn't exactly his strong suit, sir." Silas says, smirking at Silver's swollen, purple cheek. He never felt prouder of himself than he did in this moment.
"Our dojo is truly unique." Daniel continues. "We've combined our different styles to train our students into the best fighters I've ever seen and they deserve a shot at your tournament just as much as Cobra Kai."
The man nods, understandingly. The organizers all huddle together, silently debating on what to do next. The anticipation ate at them, Silver especially.
Growing impatient, he decides to interrupt them. "My apologies for this inappropriate yet entertaining disruption. But may I remind our guests that they didn't travel all this way to consider anyone but the very best."
"No, we have not. Now that we're here, we'll determine that for ourselves. We will see what your dojo has to offer." He nods over to Daniel and the others. "And yours. We expect a comprehensive exhibition of your training methods and your students' abilities. And then we will see if either dojo is worthy of Sekai Taikai."
Silas grins happily, relieved they were getting an opportunity. Daniel gives him a thankful look. "Thank you very much. You won't be disappointed."
"Well, as they say, the more the merrier." Silver claps his hands together, placing them behind his back. "May the best dojo win."
"We will." Johnny sneers. "And when we do, I'm gonna shove that ponytail up your ass. You can translate that."
Silas laughs, grabbing Johnny and pulling him back as they begin to exit the dojo. Tory watches him, she takes a step forward, going to run after him, but a sharp look from Sensei Kim, keeps her right in her place.
