I'd imagine that after the group yet again saves the day, the women of that village or city, are forever grateful to the handsome group of men that saved them...

Especially the sexy mind controller.

Thankfully, the Eternals made it to the city before the two Deviants could.

Makkari told Ajak she felt strong vibrations radiating out from the left half of the city and they rushed over quickly. Ikarus took to the sky the second they made it over.

"Two!" He'd shouted.
Phastos and Druig began to move the citizens inside a shield Phastos managed to put together with his technology.

"Everyone please, stay calm." Druig's voice carried out across the crowd.

"They're almost here!" Ikarus flew out, rushing one of the Deviants from his vantage point in the sky.
Though he got some hits, it ended up swatting him into the side of a building, but he was quick to jump back up.

The second Deviant, rose out of the ground like a scorpion popping out of sand. It was in the city.
Gilgamesh and Thena were quick with their attacks. But the beast managed to get away.

Druig turned his head as he heard it coming, Phastos screaming for him to watch out. Before it could bite his head off, he slid underneath it, past its stomach and tail, before quickly shooting up, back on his feet. A blacksmith station was right next to him. He reached across a table, quickly grabbing a spear from the wrack. He spread his legs out, one foot in front of the other, and bent his knees just slightly, his stance sturdy.

The Deviant charged at him full speed and out of the corner of his eye, he saw Makkari freeze in terror.
She thought it was going to kill him.

As it got closer, he began to charge. He swerved to the left just before the Deviant's jaw could snap down on his leg. He spun and with great force, speared the beast in the side of the head. The Deviant collapsed onto its side, letting out a mighty screech. Druig stood panting, staring at the beast, waiting for it to move. But just as it was about to, Phastos shot a sphere into it's side, successfully killing it.

The black, long sleeve tunic that Druig had been wearing, was now untucked from his black pants, light brown dust covering most of the fabric.
He dropped the spear and turned toward Makkari, who was looking at him, awestruck.

"That was badass." She signed.
He nodded in thanks, wiping his forehead with his sleeve.
They both turned in unison as they heard the second Deviant go down. Makkari ran over to make sure her friends were ok as Druig watched from his spot.
When he twisted pick up the spear he had used, a crowd of people started gathering around him.

"Hello." They all started talking at once, thank you's could be heard in the mixed sentences.
A few young women managed their way to the front.
One young woman, very beautiful, placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Thank you so much! You were amazing."
She kissed his cheek and his brows lifted in surprise.
"It was no problem, really."

Makkari watched as crowds of people gathered. Kingo looked like he was drowning, but smirked like he was happy about it. Gilgamesh only nodded and moved closer to Thena's side as the space around them filled up. Sooner or later, Sersi, Sprite, and Makkari were forced to the back of the crowds.
Sprite blew out in frustration.
Makkari's eyes wandered over the sea of people, searching for her friends. She spotted Druig in the mix and what she saw had her huffing too.
A beautiful young woman pushed her lips against his cheek.

It couldn't have been that impressive, she thought.
Then she realized that even she had been impressed.
Druig was a pretty good fighter despite being one of the thinkers in their group.
She turned away, rolling her eyes. She began her hike back to the Domo. Though she could jet off at any time, she chose to walk with Sprite and Sersi, who also decided they didn't want to see the city girls making out with the boys.

The girls had been relaxing in the center room for about 45 minutes when they heard commotion down the hall.

The rest had returned. Thena and Ajak were watching the guys as they walked, listening to them narrate the whole fight.
Kingo was making mock finger guns and pretending to shoot his energy beams as Druig smirked. Ikarus shoved at him playfully, and Gilgamesh flexed, saying he was definitely the hero of the day after stopping one of the beasts dead in its tracks so Kingo and Ikarus could get to work.

"Those girls were digging us, that's for sure." Said Kingo. "I love being a hero."

Phastos was unamused as were the girls. They sat straight faced at the end of the hall.
That's when they noticed.
Druig smirked as he made eye contact with Makkari and she turned her face away, picking up a book.

He made his way over to her, nudging her shoulder with his.
She turned to him, signing, "what's up?"

"Were you impressed?"
She rolled her eyes before reading again. As she was reading, she signed "I've seen Gilgamesh and Kingo do the same."

She felt his shoulder draw up in a gasp. When she looked he was the one rolling his eyes and standing up.
She laughed into the pages of her book.

Jealousy. Sucks, doesn't it?
