We were finally back at UA after the week off for half term. I had decided to make an effort today, putting my hair in two French plaits and putting on some mascara and lip gloss. It was my first day in school being with Katsuki, after all.
Any time someone said something about me and Katsuki being together, he'd find it impossible to hide his pure joy. It really was so enduring. I also still felt quite giddy about it if I'm honest.
"What took you so long?" Katsuki was waiting outside my dorm for me. He kissed my cheek as I came out of my door, catching me by surprise.
"Oh! Good morning to you too."
"Did you remember to do your English work?" He asked as we started walking to class together.
"Of course I did. My father would kill me." I laughed.
"The worst part of having parents as teachers." He chuckled back. "But at least they can help you with it."
"And I take full advantage of that. Except for English. I don't need help with that."
"How are you so shit at maths, but almost fluent in English." He groaned. Even though he could easily do the most difficult of maths questions, I had caught him slaving away over English grammar the day before and he had admitted that he found it difficult and had to work extra to keep at the top.
"You're one of the smartest people in the class, Kat. You'll have it in no time." I smiled.
"Yeah. Yeah, I am real smart." I knew that would cheer him up.
"Go on. Test your English on me. I can help you out." He hummed in thought for a moment before looking into my eyes and saying.
"You look beautiful today. Your hair you suit." My cheeks went warm and I looked away.
"I-it's 'suits you' not 'you suit' at the end of the sentence. You suit that hairstyle or that hairstyle suits you."
"Fine." He leaned forward and said in a low voice. "Your hair suits you."
"Good. Now stop flustering me." I swatted at him playfully, switching back to Japanese.
"But it's cu- funny. It's funny."
"You just called me beautiful but you won't call me cute?" I teased, pinching his cheek playfully. "Well you're super cute."
"Stop!"
"Ugh, get a room you two." Sero pretended to vomit as Mina laughed.
"Shut up flat-face!"
Once Kiri joined us, we set off for class. Kami would run into class milliseconds before the bell rang no matter what, so we never waited for him anymore.
"Did you three do the English homework?" Kiri nodded but Mina and Sero groaned. I shook my head and tutted, but handed them a copy of my own work I had made. "Just don't copy it exactly."
"You're a lifesaver!" Sero hasped as he grabbed it out of my hand.
"I love you! Thanks babes!" Mina squealed. I knew that at least one person would forget.
"Just don't let my dad find out."
"Are you copying each other's homework?" An authoritative voice yelled.
"Good morning Tenya." I rolled my eyes.
"Oh, Iida! Please don't tell Mic!" Mina begged.
"It is very irresponsible of you to not do your homework and allow Hinami to do it all for you." He pushed his glasses up, a frustrated look on his face.
