In-ho stood quietly in the elevator as he made his way to the 7th floor of the Sky Building. Everything that happened in the past 24 hours weighed heavily on his mind. The host had separated you two after he forced In-ho to torture you. You were still held hostage in the room while In-ho was ordered to check on Il-nam.

He lightly stretched his arm muscles. He was sore and stiff all over from hurting you, and it made him die a little inside every time he noticed. It made him feel constantly on the edge of insanity. He simply couldn't process in his mind that he hurt you like that.

In-ho entered the large room and noticed Il-nam's makeshift hospital room in the corner. As he approached, he knew Il-nam was dead. The machines were still on and sounding off a high pitched drone. In-ho unplugged the machines and stood there in silence for a moment. He noticed Il-nam's eyes were still open, so he gently pushed them down.

He looked out the window solemnly. Il-nam's passing was just another indication of how things were changing. Life would never be like it was before, but one thing would stay the same. He knew the two of you could never escape the Squid Game organization without putting up a fight. And anything was worth it to save your life.

He feared time was running out and the two of you would have to do something quick. You were up against so much, much more than you'd ever know, but he knew you had to try.

He sighed to himself and walked out, his mind churning.

As In-ho made his way back to the island, the host made his way to the room you were being held in. You were still tied to the chair, so you sat there waiting until someone came back after In-ho had left. The host eyed you up and down and chuckled.

"He really did a number on you, didn't he?"

You glared at him, pure anger coursing through your veins. You couldn't bring yourself to say anything. Nothing you could say would be satisfying enough to express how you felt.

The host approached you and roughly grabbed your face. You hadn't moved your arms, making it seem like you were still tied up, but the moment he touched you, you grabbed his hand and pushed his fingers backwards, instantly breaking a few of them. The host cried out in pain and slapped you with his other hand. He pried his hand from you and swiftly pulled out his gun, pointing it at you.

"Fucking bitch. I should kill you for that."

You spat, tasting blood in your mouth. "You're just a coward behind that gun."

The host chuckled. "And you'll still obey me under it."

"You won't kill me, or you would have already."

"You know, you're actually right about that. I have bigger plans for you."

"Sure you do."

"Don't fuck around or he's dead."

You glared at him, but internally your heart dropped, fearful of what was to come. The host called for the guards who had been apparently standing outside the door. He ordered them to untie your legs and tie your hands together, his gun directed at you the entire time. The guards grabbed you and you followed the host out of the room, all the way outside towards the beach. A small boat was sitting in the water nearby.

It was nighttime, but the moon was full and bright. As you stood there, the host called for In-ho on his radio. He had just returned from the city. You waited in silence, apprehensive.

As In-ho approached, the host dismissed the guards. In-ho kept his face neutral but internally he was frightened for you. The host pushed his gun into the back of your head and ordered the two of you on to the boat, following behind you.
