part 1
YOUR POV
"He said he wasn't coming?" your small voice asked when Seungmin told you that Changbin had decided not to join you for movie night at the last minute.
It had been a weekly thing—you guys would watch movies every Friday if your schedules permitted. It wasn't bad for you since you always had Fridays off, but there were times when not everyone could join. This week, Chan, I.N., and Leeknow were out because they had to finish recording some things at the studio. That left you with Han, Seungmin, Changbin, Felix, and Hyunjin.
But now you were hearing that Changbin was dropping out. You knew he wasn't in the studio, so you weren't sure what was up with him. He could've been sick, but if that were the case, he would've said something to you guys for sure.
The thing that rubbed you the wrong way was the fact that it was the third time he had ditched you guys without actually needing to be in the studio. You weren't sure what was going on, but you knew the guys knew for sure. You didn't feel like you should bother them—and if it was something they wanted you to know, they would most definitely tell you.
It felt like you were barely getting to see Changbin these past few months. He'd be in the studio when you couldn't be there, and when you were, he wasn't. He'd miss nights like these, and then the weekends would just disappear again. A part of you felt some type of way because you had feelings for him, and as one does with a crush, you yearned to see him almost all the time. When you didn't, you felt empty, sad even.
He didn't know, and none of the other members knew either. You had gotten pretty good at hiding your feelings—mainly because the way you flirted or interacted with guys you liked still felt true to your personality, so no one could tell much of a difference.
You didn't question it when Seungmin told you. You just acknowledged it and went about your way into the theater to watch one of the new movies that had just come out.
The movie was two hours long, but it felt like it ended pretty fast, and the next thing you knew, you guys were standing outside the movie theater.
"Is it me, or did we just waste two hours of our day?" Han asked.
Everyone hummed in agreement. The movie was ass.
Felix spoke up. "You don't get to complain—didn't you want to watch this movie? If I recall, you bought the tickets online and didn't tell us."
"Ah, 나를 비난하지 마세요 (don't blame me). People said it was good. I guess they have bad taste."
"You have bad taste," Seungmin added.
You all laughed and joked about it until Felix decided it was getting a bit late and time to get an Uber to head home.
"Let's get an XL, and you can sit in the passenger seat, (Y/N)," he said.
You shook your head at them.
"It's alright, guys. I'm just gonna head home. I'm kind of tired," you lied.
Truthfully, you just weren't in the mood to socialize with the guys right now... well, that was a lie. Throughout the whole movie, you were running scenarios in your head about where Changbin could've been. You all shared locations, so before the movie started, you checked his—but he had turned it off. If he were home, he wouldn't have done that.
And if you went home with them and saw an empty apartment, it would only confirm the thoughts that he was probably doing something he didn't want anyone to know about.
"Ya, (Y/N). Come to the apartment, we have cheesecake. Definitely can't finish it ourselves," Felix offered.
"I can finish it," Han said, but the others just looked at him—clearly not helping.
