YOUR POV
"Just go!" your best friend urges as you stare at the ticket that magically popped up in your inbox. It's an invitation to see Stray Kids live in concert—in your hometown, in just three days.
The message made you freeze when your inbox notification chimed—for multiple reasons.
You've only ever bought one concert ticket in your whole life, so you know how the process works. How did they manage to get one to you?
And not just any ticket. A front row, pit section seat—right there where they'd be able to see you as clearly as day.
You haven't spoken to them in four years—ever since you all stopped being friends. So why the sudden invitation now?
"I don't know," you mutter, closing the laptop on your kitchen counter and rising from your seat at the island. "Isn't it weird?"
Your best friend arches an eyebrow at you.
"What's weird about it? They clearly want to see you. Maybe they want you to come, see them—reunite? Ignite the dimmed flame?"
"Okay, but after all these years? And after what happened?" You shrug, not understanding the fixation she's placing on this.
"Come on, it wasn't that bad," she says. "Any girl would've killed to be in that position."
You glare at her, jaw tightening.
Not that bad? It ruined your friendship. It took almost everything out of you.
Before everything fell apart, you used to hang out with Stray Kids nearly every day. You'd met them early in their trainee era—your dad worked for JYPE and often had you come with him to Korea during school breaks or off days. You got close to them mainly because your dad was their lawyer. Every comeback, every concert, every fan meet... he had to be there to draft contracts, handle rights, and negotiate terms.
The friendship lasted nearly five years. But in those five years... you started liking them—a lot. Hanging out with idols so often, it was bound to happen. The problem? At one point, you had a crush on every single member. You felt guilty about it. They saw you as a friend, and if any of them had feelings for you, that would put them in a hard position.
That was your biggest fear—until one day, you found out that they all liked you too.
Shit.
It couldn't have gone worse. How did every single one of them end up falling for you? You were nothing like the idols surrounding them daily, yet somehow, they still liked you.
And things only escalated from there. One by one... you kissed them.
It was weird. Bizarre. You don't even fully understand how it happened. But once the feelings were mutual, when you found yourself alone with one of them—watching them practice, staying late in the studio, watching a movie together—you ended up kissing each of them.
Guilt crushed you faster than you could process. The tension in the group became too obvious, too thick. You couldn't handle it anymore. You had to tell them the truth—about the kisses, about your feelings.
But they already knew.
They knew you had kissed them. And honestly? They had urged each other to make a move on you—just to see who you'd pick.
But you didn't choose.
So, when you finally confessed, they asked you to pick one of them. Just one. If you did, the others promised not to be upset. You could date whoever you wanted, and they'd pretend nothing had ever happened.
