Today Y/n came in later than usual after spending the morning begging, who knows what, to never give her a headache again. She walked in, getting the attention of three people as she walked through the class doors. She seemed to interrupt their own little drama from the look of it. For a few seconds, she stood there and scratched her head at the awkward situation.

Finally, picking up on the situation, clearly seeing as though Yui was all over Daniel as per the new usual. She promptly hummed in acknowledgement and sits by Zoe. Eyeing the girl's reaction as she strut over to the spot next to her confidently.

"Hey let's be good friends, okay?" she said, putting an arm over Zoes shoulder once more ignoring the sting from icy look Yui was giving her. A familiar boy also looked confused at the interaction, but his eyes lingered on one of them longer. She makes eye contact with him and, after a while, looks away as if their eyes had never met.

He thought for a second if they ever actually made eye contact with how easily she dismissed it.

He let thoughts run free in his mind, both girls flashing through it rapidly, making him confused over his feelings for both of them. During his crisis, she just talked with Zoe casually, ignoring the sight of the spaced out Daniel.

Man, this guy is being weird. She inwardly gagged at their interactions, desperately pushing down the green monster that threatened to show itself. Denying it existing while packing it neatly in a box in the back of her mind, covered in chains.

She spent the rest of her day talking with Zoe, leaving Daniel to dream on about whatever was going on in his mind. Whatever was happening with him, she didn't care to know. She played with her food, getting noticed by Zoe during lunch, as she suddenly gave a small gasp before turning to her.

"Y/n I want to try doing paprika tv!"

"Oh...isn't that a spice?" She questioned, not really in tune with things online as she chewed on her food, thinking about all the different foods almost making her mouth water.

"Yes, but also it's a streaming platform and we could make a lot of money!" she exclaimed, excited at the idea. Said girl looked at her, eyebrows raised in confusion.

"We?" Zoe only smiled and looked at her with her hands in a praying motion, begging her to do it with her. She only laughed at the motion and kept eating.

"I don't really need the money, but I'll hang out with you if that's what you're implying," she said, looking over at Zoe's flushed face, denying her accusation strongly. You only hummed at her panic, smiling menacingly. "What you don't want to now?" she looked at Zoe through her eyelashes, making her stare at her.

"Please come over after school. It will be fun," she squeaked out, feeling her confidence leave her in front of the girl, who finally stopped her teasing and offering her a smile.

"I'd love to"

They ended up spending the rest of the day together to the confusion of Daniel as he looked at them in the distance only to be distracted by Yui time and time again. Soon enough all the students went their own ways Y/n following Zoes' shorter form to her home talking about anything to fill the silence. Not out of need, but a want to talk.

"Ah, sorry if it's a little messy," Zoe said, gesturing her to her perfectly clean room. Y/n turn to her with squinted eyes racking her brain trying to understand how she would think this room was messy.

I think I'm going to go blind, her floor is so shiny!

She walked in, shielding her eyes from the floor, and pulled out a chair in front of her. She looked over again to ask what they'd do, only to see Zoe changing, making her panic and turn away.
