"Ugh. Of course they didn't believe us. They never do." I groan, walking out of the police station and onto the docks.
"I know right. Where can you get decent police nowadays?" Kie replies.
"So, what's the plan, now?" JJ questions.
"I think I know how we're gonna find the guy who owns that boat." John B responds, holding up the motel key.
"No, no. We don't know whose room that is." Pope disagrees while shaking his head. "It could belong to anyone."
"I'm in." JJ smirks, throwing the keys to Kiara.
"Me too." I smile, wanting to join in on the fun.
"Come on! We'll be lookout." Kie adds as she catches the keys and smirks up at Pope.
We all begin walking past Pope who is standing there angrily.
"Finders fee. Just sayin'." John B adds, playfully slapping Pope on the chest. "And hey, at least you'll only be an accomplice."
"Oh, man." Pope sighs and runs towards us.
We all get onto our boat and begin driving off to the motel, where this mystery key is from. We pull up to it, and it's a huge mess.
"I thought the Chateau looked bad." JJ comments.
"This place is a shit show." I add.
"Motel or meth lab?"
"You be the judge."
"Doesn't look like the type of place somebody with a Grady-White would stay." John B adds.
"No. It looks like the type of place someone with a Grady-White would get killed." Pope comments.
"All right. Here we go." I sigh.
"This is your captain speaking. HMS Pogue coming in for landing." JJ jokes, acting like he is on an intercom.
I chuckle at JJ's silliness.
"Whoo!" JJ exclaims, jumping off of the boat and onto the dead grass.
JJ starts tying the rope; that's attached to the boat, onto a large hook that he shoved in the grass.
"We good?" John B questions.
"Yeah, we good." JJ answers.
"All right. Here goes nothing." John B states as he gets off the boat.
"Hey. Don't let him do anything stupid." Pope adds, pointing to JJ.
"Oh, we will." JJ smirks.
"I'm not making any promises." John B sighs.
"Yeah, I know." Pope mumbles.
"Uh, be careful... y-you two." I say to John B, but then include JJ as well.
"Yeah. Okay." John B chuckles. "We will. Promise."
John B smirks then winks at me.

- THIRD PERSON POV -
JJ looks up at Y/n and John B jealously before getting slapped on the back by John B, indicating for them to go.
"Let's go." John B speaks. The 2 boys walk up to the wrecked hotel.
The other three sit in the boat and watch them, as they walk up the stairs and onto the top floor. JJ and John B walk across the balcony of the motel; talking with each other, until they find the correct room.
"Hey, what the heck was that about?" JJ asks John B.
"What do you mean?" John B questions.
"Just be so careful, John B." JJ says with a higher voice, imitating Y/n.
