CAIAH's POV

In life, there are some people who will still betray you no matter how big the kindness you showed them. And that fact should be always crept into our minds to avoid trusting others so much to the point that we'll be blinded on the wrong things they're doing to us. Trust should be cherish

"You, traitor" I squinted my eyes on Lei who's currently sitting comfortably on the sofa

She just gave me a teasing smile as if she knew something that I don't

I continue to walk downstairs. I'm still wearing my pair of sleeping ware which is a pajama and a long sleeves. It's already near lunch time and I just woke up. Kung hindi pa ako nagutom ay wala naman talaga akong balak na lumabas ng room ko. The weather is gloomy and I just want to sleep all day

Tumungo ako sa kusina at naghanap ng pwedeng makain sa ref. Bigo lang akong napabuntong hininga dahil puro mga lulutuin lang ang mga nandon. I groaned. I don't even know how to cook!

Lei is the one who always cooks for me. I mostly eat take out foods before Lei bacame my manager. I actually tried to learn how to cook but I almost burned my whole kitchen that time. That's why I stop trying to learn. Baka masunog ko pa ang buong bahay

"Your breakfast in on the table!" Lei shouted from the living room which made me smile

I settled myself on the table and eat

After eating, I went to the living room and sit beside Lei. I didn't bother to greet her. I'm still not okay to what she did last night. She just freakin' gave me to a mere stranger! How would that be okay?!

She chuckled and offer the popcorn and that she's eating earlier. I quietly take it and shove a few pieces into my mouth

"Is this a peace offering?" I ask and look at the off television since there's nothing interesting to watch

"You can say that" she said and laugh

"I already settled the terms with Mr. Clemente and he agreed on hiding your identity to the public. He said that you don't need to introduce youself to anyone. He will jist personally ask you if there's something" she said suddenly

"I already told you that I don't agree" I said with a pout

"You just want to make things harder for Mr. Clemente, Caiah. Stop your game"

There. She said it and she's right. Even though, the first time I heard the offer, I immediately decline. It doesn't mean that I can't change my mind. Actually, I'm already convince moments after I heard the song. And I just want to caught Mr. Clemente which I succeed. That's also the reason why I didn't listen on what they're talking about last night since Lei can already handle it

Her phone rings and she answer it

"Hello?.. Yes, hon. I'm with Caiah. Okay. See you. Bye" she talk to the person on the other line which I assume is Ian

"I gotta go. Tino-topak na naman ang leon" natatawang anya at dali-daling umalis na

Napabuntong hininga na lamang ako at tumingin sa popcorn na hawak ko. Maybe I should just get some more sleep than to get bored here without doing anything

I was about to go upstairs when the doorbell suddenly rings. My forehead creased. It's impossible to be Lei because she never used the doorbell. Basta basta na lamang siyang papasok dito na parang bahay niya lang. Not that I complain. That's actually on my favor since I'm currently sleeping everytime she will come

Tumungo ako patungo sa pinto upang tignan kung sino ang nag doorbell. Nagtaka ako nang makita ang pamilyar na pulang sasakyan. Naglakad ako patungo sa harap ng gate at bumumgad sa akin ang nakangising pagmumukha ng hambog na drummer
