We went back to Africa. The only problem we had since then was who was going to hold the toys in whose bag. We had to throw the hand restraints away, but we could easily replace them.

Our relationship progressed for the week we came back to Africa.

I found a note at my desk from Jotaro: 'Come to my office at 2'. I sighed, "Why doesn't this guy just call me? Or even text? That's a thing now." I check the clock. It was 10 til.

I went on my way to Jotaro's office. I knocked on the door.

"Come in."

I entered closing the door behind me. "Hi."

Jotaro said, "Sweetheart, could you lock the door for me." He was leaning on his desk, jacket off. Rolled up sleeves.

I locked the door. "Why the lock? Is this private? Wait... sweetheart?"

He sighed and averted his eyes, "A term of endearment. You're dear to me, so I wanted to call you Sweetheart."

"I have to admire your honesty and bluntness. So why am I here?"

He answered, "I want you to move in."

"Really?"

"Yeah," he said. "After staying together for a month, I'm kind of used to your presence. And when I'm gone, you can watch the place. You can have your own room as well."

"Just like that?"

"Just like that."

"Wow," I said. "I mean, I'm surprised you would suggest that." Given the fact he purposely stayed away from his family, it was a big surprise. Why did he choose to stay with me?

"You are having doubts?"

"Yeah," I said.

"What is it?"

I sighed, "I don't mean this in a bad way, but why? You had a family, but you want me to stay with you?"

Something jolted in Jotaro. "You have a point, but... She can take care of Jolyne on her own. She's strong."

"But not strong enough to be around you."

He called my name as if it was a warning. "That's not it. You know the situation. They are not stand users."

"But what about your feelings towards her?" His ex-wife.

He uttered, "We divorced for a reason. We aren't in love. We just have one thing in common."

Jolyne, their daughter. And he wanted her safe.

"Okay," I said. "Sorry."

He took a deep breath in and out. It was like he was trying to straighten his emotions. He was worried about them regardless, but it didn't mean he couldn't have some stability.

I repeated, "Really. Sorry."

"Yeah, I know. It was bothering you, so I do want you to get it all out." He took another breath before saying, "Can you move in?"

"Yeah of course," I said.

"Good." He stepped forward. He was hesitant to reach for me.

"We've done so many shameful things, and you are still too shy for a kiss?" I laughed as I closed the gap and gave him a kiss. "And then we can have a home warming..." I paused to think. "Celebration!" Not gathering because there was no way he would be inviting anyone to his home. He barely let me into his house.

"Yeah," a small smile grew on his face as he went behind his desk and sat down. "That's a good idea."

I moved in as soon as two days. It was quite fast because the Speedwagon Foundation helped, as much as I said I didn't need it, but Jotaro insisted. It was a simple one-story house with two bedrooms and a bathroom and a half. I just finished settling in when Jotaro said, "Let's eat."
