We stayed in Texas another two weeks. I made sure to stay by his side as long as we were there. Soon, we were back home in Florida.

When we arrived home, Jotaro and I didn't bother to unpack and went to sleep. The next morning, I woke up to coughing. I felt the sound reverberate through me. It wasn't me coughing.

I opened my eyes seeing Jotaro sitting up.

His cheeks were flushed and he looked sluggish. His hand was over his mouth. He coughed more.

"Hey, Jotaro," I called. "You're sick?"

"I'm fine," he stood up. He didn't move from the spot as he swayed a little.

"Nope." I quickly jumped up and came to his side. "Back to bed. Right now." I grabbed his arm and guided him back to bed. I placed my hand on his head. "You are burning up! Stay here. I'll be right back."

I left the room and ran to get some necessities. When I came back, Jotaro wasn't in bed. I sat tea, water bottles and medicine on the bedside table. I groaned, "Jotaro, where are you?" I left the room and checked the first place I could think of.

The office.

I went there and found Jotaro at his desk. Papers were scattered around his desk. His half-lidded eyes was reading a page.

"Jotaro Kujo," I commanded. "Bed. Now!"

"No," he pouted. His eyes were bloodshot and tired.

I scoffed. I walked up to him and grabbed his arm. "You need to get well." I pulled him up. "Let's go."

He followed me along out the room to his bedroom.

"Now lay down."

Jotaro obliged and laid down on the bed. He sighed, "Do I have to?"

"Yes," I answered. "If you want to get better soon."

Jotaro looked away and scoffed. He was being quite bratty today. He reached for the hat that wasn't on his head and scoffed again.

"Alright," I said. "Enough with the attitude. Time to take your medicine." I gave him his medicine, then advised him to stay laying down. No work!

Jotaro laid with his back to me.

I got up and said, "I'll be back. I'm going to fix some breakfast." I left to make some soup for him.

When I came back, guess where he was. Not in bed.

"Jotaro Kujo!" I called. I sat the bowl back down and stomped over to his office.

Jotaro looked up at me with a sluggish gaze. "Oh, hey sweetheart."

"Don't 'oh hey sweetheart's me!" I pointed at him and scolded, "Get in bed now. Breakfast is done."

Jotaro pouted, "Do we have to?"

"Yes," I said.

"I'm not hungry."

"Jotaro Kujo, now!"

Jotaro sighed, "Fine." He stood up from his seat. He yawned as he got up.

Finally, the medicine was beginning to affect him.

We got to our bedroom. Jotaro sat on the bed, and I gave him the soup to eat. I sat on the edge of the bed to monitor him.

After a few scoops of soup, his eyes began closing.

I grabbed the bowl from him.

Jotaro glanced over at me, but his eyes closed quickly after. His head leaned back against the headrest. Then he began snoring the loudest snore I've heard in a while.
