A/n since this is based off the special chapter, this will have subject of suicide. You have been warned!

I was home in Florida, but Jotaro was gone on one of his Biologist Trips. He wasn't going to be back until the next day. Then after that, we were supposed to go to Texas to set up headquarters there for a few weeks.

I decided to do some shopping. I left the house and drove to a store to replace his worn out collar.

When I went into the shop, I searched for something that would be perfect for him. Despite getting distracted on a few tools, I managed to find one.

Later, I arrived home. I saw a familiar figure standing on the beach with his white hat and coat. He was standing in the water fully clothed. "Jotaro?"

I went to the sandy beach to reach him.

His back was to me as he stared out into the horizon.

"Jotaro!"

He turned to look at me.

I stayed on the sand while he was almost waist deep in the water. "What are you doing here a whole day early? How ar-." I stopped abruptly as I recognized something in his face.

There were tears on his face.

He quickly wiped them away.

I called concerned, "Jotaro..."

He began making his way to me. He was soaking wet. When he reached me, he said, "Hello, sweetheart."

The crashing waves nearly covered the sound of his voice.

"Are you okay? Did something happen?"

"Um," he started. "Yeah." He hesitated before continuing. "Jolyne's growing up." He swallowed as he looked away. He was missing his daughter once again. Well, he never stopped missing his daughter for that fact.

I wondered if she tried calling him, or the fact that we were in the same state as them. She was growing up, and he was missing out on it. He was close yet so far away.

I placed my hand on his cheek. "Aw, hun. It must hurt a lot."

He nodded as he sniffed. Tears began falling from his eyes once again.

"Let's go inside and get you dried up."

When we came inside, we found that his phone was also waterlogged. It was in his pocket the whole time. Just what was he doing in the water like that? He had disregard for whatever was on him because he didn't bother to even take off his shoes. Maybe that was just the state he was in.

The next day, he was back on his feet as we search for a new phone for him.

Soon, it was time for us to pack and up go off to Texas.

That was when things went down hill, but it didn't seem like it at first. In fact, we started on a high note after a couple of weeks. We were busy working together. It was nice working along side my partner.

When I was leaving from the SPW building, I saw quite the bizarre group. There stood a blond young man in a black suit with a chest window. Beside him was a guy in a crop top holding a turtle. That blond guy looked familiar.

Haruno Shiobara... or was it according to Koichi: Giorno Giovanna

I came over to ask if they had any business here.

The guy said, "Yes, I'm here for a man called Jotaro Kujo. I know about Polnareff."

I gasped, "Really?" I didn't wait for an answer as I flipped my phone open to called Jotaro.
