Meeting the Mammon bunch was...interesting. Yeah, they were nice and all, but... they all eerily reminded me that I didn't have my little sister with me.
"Hey, Ezra!"Someone calls me over, "Can you really do that sword thing?"They asked.
"Oh... Uhm- yeah. It works with Metals, Currency, and jewels and stuff!"I put my book back on the shelf."How about you do archery training with us? We're fighting against the Wrath kids today."Another calls over.
"I'm fin-"I'm cut of by everything going silent, the radio playing whirrs and then stops, everyone stops talking and their eyes go completely white.
"Five days. You have five days to find her. She's more special than you believe, Son of Mammon, you will see."One of the kids says... well- not like they said it... the voice poured out of their open mouth.
"Yes... Important...you won't see her the same way again, young demon."Another "kid" chimes in.
"Never again."
"Never again"
"NEVER AGAIN!"Alyssa shakes me, I back away... and everything goes back to normal, no one seemed to noticing the minor possessing that just took place.
"I-I- I gotta go."I mumble, running up the stairs. That ordeal made me want to puke.As I stare off in the distance, I spot Jade. Could I tell them what just happened? No... they couldn't be trusted. I sighed as the breakfast horn was blown, I had to run away. And fast. But first, I had to actually eat something. I sit down, looking around the tables. Jade looks confused as they look around, they then sit down at the head.
"Someone's had a vision without telling us, haven't they, Jade?"Beatriz smirks, looking over at Jade.
"I think they have."Jade looks directly at me, with those hateful eyes."Well, who was it? Speak up!"Jade yells, "Who's hiding their 'Epic Quest' They're gonna be sent on?"Jade walked around the tables, people murmured about it not being them. I then noticed... was this a way I could leave? Well, no hesistation.
"It was me! I didn't know we had those- so I didn't tell you! I- I have to save my sister in six days."I raised my hand, Jade squinted at me."Of course it was you, I wouldn't expect someone important. Well, c'mon, let's get you ready for an adventure... first, you need to choose your team."
