I stared up at the cage, limping fastly towards it, but Aella grabbed my arm. "It looks like a trap."She mumured, examining the blackstone tiles around us. "Right..."I sighed, I finally got to see my sister and I had to wait for Aella to see if it's a trap or something. The wing flapping got closer, along with stomping.
"He's angry..."Aella said, listening to the stomps. She threw a pencil at a tile, and it instantly fell into the fire below, we backed away. "So, that's definetly booby-trapped."I mumbled.
"Only angels can sense the right tiles, which means..."Aella pulled the angel feather out of her bag, and threw it into the air. It flew through the air, skipping certain tiles, Aella seemed to be taking note. She began to follow the feather, and I did the same. The feather soon landed on a tile, and nothing happened.

I hopped onto that tile, nearly falling off the edge... But we were only halfway.
"Your feather now, Ezra!"Aella told me, I took the feather out and threw it. It floated like the other one did, going past certain tiles. I hopped on the tiles and Aella followed. Then, we finally made it to the cage. She was just hanging in the air, a couple feet out.

Suddenly, the flaps got way too close. And then, the angels flew in. They shot arrows at us, and flew past us just to knock us over.
"You guys are annoying! C'mon, fight us like you mean it!"Aella yelled, taking a steak knife from her bag. "Holy Satan, you come prepared."I told her, an angel then knocked me down. Another flew by me, but I stabbed it in the wing. The poor guy tumbled to the floor, nearly falling off the edge.
"We just wan't my sister!"I yelled, pointing to Ellisse, but the angels were either deaf, or stupid, or both. Because, the one I knocked over blew a whistle, and more flew in, firing arrows at us. An arrow shot into Aella's shoulder, she winced. "Is it bad?!"She asked me, dodging an Angel's hits.
"Just- don't look at it!"I called over. To be honest, it was gushing out blood. "Dude- Just, gimme your dagger! Get Ellisse!"She yelled over to me, I threw my dagger to her and she caught it.

Limping towards Ellisse's cage was the most relieving moments of my life. She seemed to be okay, and breathing. And then... she showed up. The angel girl flew in front of me, planting her feet right in front of the cage, a smirk on her face, She had terracota-coloured skin, brown eyes, short black hair, huge, white-feathery wings, and a golden quiver on her back.

"Your not getting the girl."She smirked, bringing out her bow, "Not without going through me."
"You don't scare me!"I yelled, but I didn't have my dagger to defend myself, and the angel seemed to know. "Oh, but you can't defend yourself without your little... pocket knife, can you?"She mocked me.

"I can beat you with my hands!"I yelled, trying to summon jewels from the ground... but nothing happened. I tried again, still... nothing. Then the girl walked towards me, her heeled boots making a tapping noise. Her wings fluttered, and then she pushed me to the ground. "Get up. Try it. That little ankle of yours can't support you. I'll just keep pushing you, for eternity."The girl sneered at me. I looked back at Aella, she wasn't holding up well, blood still rushed out of her shoulder. The angel girl kicked me in the face, making blood pour out of my nose.

I tried to get up, but the angel knocked me down again. "C'mon, get up, she's right there..."She moved out of the way, making a path to the cage. I crawled towards the cage, an arrow flew into my leg. I stopped for a second, my vision blurred from blood loss, but I had to keep crawling. The angel seemed to have enough, because she pushed me away again. Ellisse whimpered in her cage, continuing to sob. I... just had to reach her. She was so close... so close.

Finally! My finger grazed the front of the metal cage and-Aella grabbed me, the angel girl looked at her with digust, like, "Did she just ruin my fun?"

"Yes, run away!"The angel girl smirked, "NO!"I yelled, looking back at the cage, I felt tears rush down my face, "She's... right there!"I weakly pointed.
"Ezra. We have to leave, now. He's coming... and he isn't happy!"Aella ran, I could only watch as Ellisse became smaller in the distance, until everything started to fade. I... was so close...
