I looked around, searching for some huge, majestic tree with glowing fruits. But Aella's book said differently. She held a book in her hands from the Camp library, and in it showed an actual image of the Knowledge tree or whatever. It was a small, thinning tree with few leaves and a couple of apple-looking fruits in it. "So... we look for that tree, eat an apple, and then we know everything?"Erik asked, not really paying attention as we looked for the tree.
"Pretty much."Aella replied, "But... it's supposed to burn like fire in your mouth, and not like Hell-fire."She shook her head.

"I'll eat it!"I raised my hand, I would do anything for Ellisse at this point, to hold her in my arms again. I promised mom I would keep her safe, and I was gonna keep that promise.

"No... you've went through too much pain, and you've got the map."Aella said, and then she looked over at Loona.
"Nope, not in the mood to eat fire, sorry Ezra, I'm out of this one."Loona put her hands up like she was surrendering, and then put them back into her pockets.
"It's settled, I'll do it!"Aella smiled, she seemed happy to eat fire for someone she'd never met..wow. "Nope. You can't either, Aella. Someone's gotta be agile enough to grab the kid, I got this one."Erik smirked, "Besides... It- It would be cool to be the smart one, for once."He stood next to a tree that resembled the picture. "Erik... you don't have to-"I'm cut off, "TOO LATE!"He yelled, grabbing an apple off the tree and taking a bite out of it.

Erik instantly fell to the ground, he twitched and gagged and gargled, "ERIK!"Loona yelled, rushing to his side. I limped over and Aella ran next to him. Erik looked up at all of us, "Did that... mention anything about- the world spinning?"He weakly pointed to her book, staring at the sky. "Erik. Erik... stay with me, Where. Is. Ellisse?"I asked, which... sounded sort of self-centered... he was over here, probably dying, and I was asking for information.
"Sh- She's... Cage... under the throne room... The- the- big cage..."Erik rasped, panting when he talked. I had to admit, he didn't look so hot. He grasped at his neck, was his... Adam's Apple turning the color of ash?

"What throne room?"I asked, taking out a notepad from my bag. "The- Only one... here, /hir/, in at or to this place or position."Erik weakly said, okay, spewing out definitions was not a good sign. "AELLA! READ MORE STUFF FROM YOUR BOOK, You must've missed a very important detail!"I yelled at her. Aella opened her book, "Madness. He's- He's being driven to madness."She kept a straight face.
"Oh, Erik."Loona mumbled. "CURES?! DOES IT STATE ANY CURES?!"I asked, Aella flipped through the book.

"It... says there is one, but the page- it's ripped...Of COURSE."Aella threw the book, "He'll be fine by right now, but then the nurses at camp'll have to try something..."She threw Erik's unconcious body over her shoulder, "It would be better if you were an owl right now..."Aella groaned.

"Look, were not gonna get anywhere doing this... he'll be fine when we bring him to camp, but this quest is about Ellisse, and I'm not leaving her to die. Were getting her. Now."I picked up Aella's book, flipping through the pages, looking for one on a throne room.
