"Good morning."Aella smiled at me, but she carried this Melancholy aura since yesterday. She handed me a granola bar, which I opened and took a bite out of. Loona sat down, staring at the floor, she was quiet ever since Erik told her that her parents were dead, understandable. Erik was still fast asleep, except he seemed to be dreaming, mumbling things and panting heavily.

"They'll take care of him at camp... I hope."Aella looked at the floor.

I stared out the window, a group of Deer ran with the train, almost trying to beat it. The deer didn't seem to be mortal, though. They were familiars, magical creatures that witches would use as pets, or something. I could tell by their glowing-white eyes.
I checked my watch, we had about six hours until we reached Camp. And then I could tell everyone about my failures, great. And I was pretty nervous about my dreams last night... what did they mean? They honestly terrified me. I was also confused on how the demons are known as the bad guys... that girl last night-whoever she was- taunted me as my sister sat in cage.

Hours later, I couldn't find myself to talk, we were all exhuasted, hungry, thirsty, and wanted to sleep in our own beds. All I wanted was Ellisse, to hear her voice again, not my dads high-pitched impression of her in a dream. I would trade places with her in a heartbeat. Years ago, I promised mom I would take care of her, before she "vanished" Ellisse and I waited days in our house for mom to return from the store... where she said she was going. We later found out that dad had made a deal with her, my mother's soul for her kids to be alive and healthy. That's how greedy Mammon is, he would steal his former lover's soul.
And now, my only remaining family I actually know, is far away from me, possibly going to be killed. I couldn't help but beat myself up for it, if I hadn't broken my stupid ankle... if I didn't give my dagger to Aella. If-
"SPY! The spy, cherubs! Satan, huh? Don't feel well... Well, In a good or satifactory way, AGH!"Erik massaged his temples, he didn't look any better, actually... he looked worse. Not to mention his brain probably thinking of a 100 topics at once. "The owls! Clawing my eyes out!"Erik winced, shutting his eyes tightly.
"Woah, dude... calm down."I patted his shoulder, "Were almost there, they'll fix you up!"Loona added. Erik groaned, "Can't wait much longer... Death! War! Angels! The spy, the spy!"He continued like that, starting on a topic, and then going to another topic, interrupting himself by explaining some sort of spy, and then going onto another topic. Until he finally calmed down, leaning his head on the wall.

The hours flew by fast... We were already in New York. Now, we just needed to make it back to camp in one piece. We got off the train, pretty easy, I could finally walk without needing someone to support me, and Erik was asleep... or dead, either was better than him spewing out words. We were in New York City.
"Camp's close... but I sense something's not happy with us."Loona told us, keeping Erik's sword at her side. Aella carried Erik on her back, and I held my dagger, ready to attack anything that would jump out at us. Loona seemed to be good at sensing danger, something I wasn't so good at. Most of my senses were busy detecting gold and money.
Suddenly, it jumped out at us.
