"Wow. Your dad sucks."Erik said as the train stopped. I had explained everything to them, they were all good listeners. We all hopped off the train, we were in a forest and right on track. Eight days to find my sister, and I was determined. I looked over the map, we were in Kansas (almost to Colorado)... and the entrance to Heaven was in LA, California.
"Yikes."Loona muttered, looking down at the map. Erik turned his head all the way back, LIKE ALL THE WAY BACK, and looked at the map.
"Jeez, that's new."He turned his head back normally and looked at the map.
"Your freaky, dude."Aella gave him a weird look, he shrugged. "Anyways... it would take-like- 19 days for a mortal to get there. But were DEMON SPAWN! WE GOT THIS IN THE BAG FOR THE 5 DAYS!"I yelled, raising a fist in the air. The others did the same. Erik picked a stone off of the floor, carving the date into it. He slid it into his pocket. Some leaves rustled, and we all look over at the possible threat. Erik drew his sword, and when I accidently put my hand on my dagger's sheath, it was there. I pulled it out, pointing it as the bush. Okay, it wasn't my dagger, BUT IT WAS WAY BETTER! It was pure golden with rubies inbedded in it.
"Thank you dad!"I yelled at the floor as a giant dog came out of the bush, wait- that wasn't just a giant dog. This was a hell-hound, it was huge, had black fur, large sharp fangs, and glowing red eyes."Is it one of those hell-hounds on our side... or is it a goody-two-shoes one?"Aella asked, backing away from the snarling creature.
"NOTHING'S ON OUR SIDE! WERE DEMI-DEMONS!"Erik yelled."We'll just have to find out... C'mon here boy! C'monnnn! Who's a RUTHLESS boy? Who's a devilish little boy?"Loona gave the creature a big smile, eyeing Erik's blade, he instantly set it down. But... this hell-hound had something special, a gold key sat around his neck.
"You guys thinking what I'm thinking?"I asked, smirking. The others nodded. This golden key...was in fact, the key to Something very important... the gates of heaven.
I focused all my power on the key's gold, how much I wanted it... and I also focused on my need to find my sister, The key started to float, but soon the Hell-hound had enough, it charged. DIRECTLY AT ME.
I tried to jump out of the way, but the hound ran into me like in a bull-fight. I knocked into a tree, my vision sort-of blurry from the crash. "DUDE! IT HATES US NOW- IT'S SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE TO STAB THE DOG!"Erik yelled over at me. I stood up, taking out my dagger and pointing it at the beast.
The hell-hound barked at me, and I got closer, jabbing at it. But, the thing just wouldn't go away, I was half it's size and no match for it's strength(Plus, I didn't want to kill the poor dog)
"There has to be another way."I threw my knife at the floor. "Dang, your soft."Erik picked up his sword, walking towards the Hell-hound. Right as he got close enough to it, the demon dog swiped the sword out of his hands, it landed on the floor. "....Heh..."Erik bolted away from the dog.
"Any other plans?"I asked, looking hopefully at my group."LOONA! YOU- You can put anything to sleep! Just- do that!'Aella smiled at Loona, who didn't seem to enthusiastic about the plan.
"I- I dunno... I haven't done it in awhile...."Loona stared at the floor. "You got this!"Erik told her, I gave her an encouraging smile.
"Okay. I got this. You guys- might wanna step back."Loona told us, we all complied.
