"Pull up a bit of grass, Barry," said Ludo brightly, patting the ground beside him.

Nagini knew that Barty Crouch wasn't so important to the plan for this year, yet he fascinated her. She always wondered how easy could he give up on his son all of this years ago and simply sentence him to Azkaban. She thought parents were supposed to care and love their children unconditionally. A good example was Narcissa Malfoy, even if her son was a worthless piece of shit.

"Mr. Crouch!" said Percy breathlessly, sunk into a kind of halfbow that made him look like a hunchback. "Would you like a cup of tea?"

"Oh," said Mr. Crouch, looking over at Percy in mild surprise. "Yes - thank you, Weatherby."

Fred and George choked into their own cups, almost spitting it in Davina's hair. The girl herself felt embarrassed for poor Percy. He tried so hard to please Crouch and bastard couldn't even take the time to remember his name. It was the same as if Voldemort didn't acknowledge his daughter's name.

"So, been keeping busy, Barty?" said Bagman breezily.

"Fairly," said Mr. Crouch dryly. "Organizing Portkeys across five continents is no mean feat, Ludo."

"I expect you'll both be glad when this is over?" said Mr. Weasley.

Ludo Bagman looked shocked.

"Glad! Don't know when I've had more fun....Still, it's not as though we haven't got anything to took forward to, eh, Barty? Eh? Plenty left to organize, eh?"

Mr. Crouch raised his eyebrows at Bagman.

"We agreed not to make the announcement until all the details -"

"Oh details!" said Bagman, waving the word away like a cloud of midges. "They've signed, haven't they? They've agreed, haven't they? I bet you anything these kids'll know soon enough anyway. I mean, it's happening at Hogwarts -"

Every student on the grass looked puzzled, thinking about what might happen this year at Hogwarts. Nagini of course knew, Crouch Junior eavesdropped on his dad during his home arrest and found out all the details they needed to invent the perfect plan. They had to do everything in their power to guide Harry till the third task to meet his doom.

"What's happening at Hogwarts, Dad?" said Fred at once after crouch and Bagman Disapparated. "What were they talking about?"

"You'll find out soon enough," said Mr.Weasley, smiling.

"It's classified information, until such time as the Ministry decides to release it," said Percy stiffly. "Mr. Crouch was quite right not to disclose it."

"Oh shut up, Weatherby," said Fred, playing with Davina's smooth hair.

As the afternoon wore, the campsite became more and more crowded. By dusk, the still summer air itself seemed to be quivering with anticipation, and as darkness spread like a curtain over the thousands of waiting wizards, the last vestiges of pretence disappeared: the Ministry seemed to have bowed to the inevitable and stopped fighting the signs of blatant magic now breaking out everywhere. Davina couldn't understand why so many people from all around the globe desired to witness other people on brooms and throwing balls in the air. As she had no choice, she decided to simply keep quiet and accept the situation.

Davina spent most of her time with Ginny and Hermione in their personal tent, mostly gossiping, but the girl zoned out middle of the conversation.

Without expecting, she was brought back to reality by 2 pillows hitting her straight in the face.

"Who dared!?" she yelled while getting up from her bed. Ginny and Hermione both giggled and pointed at each other "She did!" they both said at the same time.
