"So where is the real Moody now?"

After the Opening Feast and the announcement of the Triwizard Game, all of the students went to their dorms to get a good night of sleep. Davina supposedly went too - even got under the covers and closed her eyes. Obviously, no slumber met her. She simply waited for the other girls to fall asleep so Nagini could sneak out.

She started sneaking around ever since she arrived for the first time at Hogwarts. The major problem was that Hermione needs to stir in her bad for three hours straight before she finally dozes off.

Thankfully, this night the bushy haired girl became unconscious earlier (2 hours and 19 minutes) due to the day-long train travel and lack of food in her stomach.

Now Nagini could be found in Crouch/Moody's new office. The school year will begin in the morning, therefore the two culprits won't have much time to discuss their twisted plans.

"I enchanted this trunk to make its insides way deeper," Junior Crouch said, pointing at an old trunk, which every other professor thought it consisted Moody's belongings, but it wasn't the belongings that it contained - it was Moody himself.

"Do you think he can hear us?" whispered Nagini, but not daring peering insides, too afraid for Mad-Eye to notice her face and voice, in case he might escape and reveal her real identity to the outer world.

"Not possible, Master. I stupefied him and the only way he could wake up is if I said the counterspell." said Crouch in a soothing tone, erasing Nagini's worries.

"You know, it's quite disturbing seeing you like a dog bit half of your face off." grimaced Nagini. And she was right; she couldn't imagine how could that be her ally, dressed and changed completely to look like her enemy.

Magic is truly magical.

"It's not an enjoyment, Master Nagini, but if it means I get to contribute at my other Master's rising, then I will take any risk." he said in the most grateful voice he could muster.

Those were exactly the words Nagini desired to hear from every single servant; total dedication to a higher and wiser cause, complete loyalty. "You better do, Crouch."

The following morning, Hermione, Davina, Ron and Harry sat in the Great Hall, minding their breakfast peacefully.

"School hasn't even started and you already have dark circles under eyes." noticed Harry, after analyzing Davina's entire form, something he did quite often and sometimes it bothered the girl, wondering if Harry knew about her true self.

The dark eyes were an addition from coming back late in her dorm. Since the sneaking was a part of her spying routine, it was hard to get rid of them. Her 3 friends established that they were coming from her hard work put into studying - and that wasn't even true.

"I don't get it how you keep getting so pale - you fall asleep the second your head touches the pillow!" questioned Hermione, truly confused. At least the efforts Nagini put into waiting patiently for the girl to doze off were not fruitless.

"I actually don't mind it that much - I think they look pretty attractive to me." shrugged Davina, speaking the honest truth.

Ron scoffed. "Say it louder for the guys in line for you, they'll be walking zombies by Thursday."

"I'm sure Fred won't hesitate for that." mumbled Harry, slightly lost in his thoughts.

"Don't forget Dean Thomas, my bet is that he'll try to kiss Davina again this year." giggled Hermione.
