The hunters came out of nowhere. They knew they have been roaming these grounds for a while now. Capturing and killing animals of every kind. And then they wonder why all of the wonderful and mystical species disappear out of the world.

Most of the time they want snakes for their beautiful skin. For clothes. As if they couldn't use any other source of material.

In these waters there were lots of this kind. Reticulated python they were called. They tried to hide as best as they could, but unfortunately it wasn't enough.

Coming after them. The snakes tried to defend themselves, but the hunters were professionists. The only female of them, and the fastest, was way ahead and found a small hole and hidded herself while the hunters were busy with the rest of her family.

Humans. The cruelest species who breathe. Merciless and diabolic. The female never appreciated their existence, but now she was boiling with rage. How could someone be so selfish and evil to kill her kind and destroy the once beautiful world? Animals were the first to exist before came the true monsters. They had the rightful place to dominate the Earth and not the heartless imbeciles.

If they wanted her skin so bad, then they shall bleed for it.

The female snake got out of her hiding place and lunged forward to bite and kill the intruders. She took them by surprise.

Human blood spurted out everywhere and on everything. The sound of screaming mixed with brutal movements made the snake pleased. She wasn't known for her violent acts, but if necessary, she could become the worst and most dangerous reptile on planet.

After 2 delicious moments, more hunters came from their hidding place, prepared with weapons by their side. They needed to help their team and of course, capture all the snakes in the area.

Half of the humans took the injured people out and the other half started attacking the female snake. She then lost all the dominance she had on them and was considering giving up.

She wasn't so scared. She always knew what could be her possible fate. But it will never be her fault that she lost. It will always, but always be the fault of those cruel beings. Humans. The actual sin that was sent to the Earth. They call themselves "the future" when in reality the only thing they succeed at is destruction. Even since the beginnings of time, all they have done is ruining the eco system and it's wonders. What the female snake wanted the most in the world is the apocalypse to come soon and vanish the proof that humans ever stepped foot on this planet.

She got prepared to accept her sad destiny, when she started hearing screams again. Maybe some of her kind was still free and came in to her rescue? The female had her hopes up, but when the whole place fell into a deadly silence, she looked around and the only thing she saw was this tall, very pale man, with red, snake-like eyes, dressed in black from head to toe. He had some sort of white stick in his right hand, which she thought he used to kill the hunters, but she didn't notice any blood on it. Or blood anywhere in general.

Every human except him was dead, but they had no signs of brutality on them. But their faces had a horrified and panicked expression left, which could have been the last mimic they took before meeting their end.

The reptile thought the scary man will end her too, but he only looked at her with a curios face. She did not move, but only expected something bad to happen to her.

The man slowly got on one knee and spoke in her language, which was odd, considering humans do not understand her kind's way of communicating.

"Do not be afraid my dear. I got rid of those amateurs just so you could be at peace." he said with a soothing voice.

"I appreciate the help, which I did not need it, human. But i do have to ask, who are you? And how can you speak my language, if it was only created for my specie?" she asked while keeping a safe distance between her and the stranger.

"Now you see, I am not an usual human being. People know me as Voldemort. I come from Great Britain. I am a Wizard, I create magic, and I am the most powerful one. But I need more power. My kind is at war. Unworthy people infiltrated our world and they pretend to have the same magical abilities as us. We have to stop them before they start ruling other us." the man named Voldemort explained himself while having an angry face, especially when he started talking about the traitors.

"I understand now your dilemma, Voldemort, but I still do not understand what are you doing in the Southwest Asia, so far away from your home if you need to protect your people at all cost."

Voldemort smiled down to her, happy to finally reach to the point of the conversation that he longed for. "I'm very glad you asked. Like I previously mentioned, I need reinforcements. I came here because I always admired your kind for your violent and strong force. And I got lucky to find you here." the female did not know what she should respond to this. Is he offering her a way out of her habit? If she was being honest, she did want to be anywhere else that was safe. And that had food resources. This place did not contain anything for her taste.

"Let's say it straightforward. You want me to accompany you to another part of the world, and help you with your war? What exactly should I do to make you win this battle?"

"Do not worry about that for now. I will let you get comfortable and serve you all of the necessary conditions to give you a better experience. But later I will just need you to stay by my side and be my confident. I will decide later if I should give you some changes."

She remained confused at the last part, but the snake did not see any problem, as long as she will get anything she will want.

She was only a young reticulated python back then and did not know any better. She did not saw what a foolish mistake she has done, but she will understand a few years later. This was just the beginning of a long nightmare.

This is the start of Nagini's story among human beings.
