Nagini was ready to curse whoever invented humans. She actually had no idea how they appeared. The only thing that bothered her now was the legs. As per usual.

"Mr. Weasley, how much longer do we have?" Davina asked with this uncomfortable feeling in her chest, like she had no air.

"Right around the corner- Oh there he is! Amos!"

"Over here, Arthur! Over here, son, we've got it." Shouted another adult voice.

Turning around, Davina saw a chubby man alongside with a younger boy, a rather handsome one and he seemed oddly familiar to the girl. She then noticed that the man, probably the boy's father was holding a moldy-looking old boot in his other hand.

"This is Amos Diggory, everyone," said Mr. Weasley. "He works for the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. And I think you know his son, Cedric?"

Now this time a bell ringed in Davina's mind. This was Hufflepuff's Quidditch captain who has beaten Gryffindor's team last year and brought Oliver Wood almost to insanity. Since Davina remembered all of this, it made her understand more why everyone greeted Cedric but not Fred and George. She assumed they have never forgiven him for what happened, even if he seemed a very approachable guy. He was truly a Hufflepuff.

The 2 adults started having conversation about their trip to the hill and of course the Quidditch match from last year, but Davina couldn't remove her eyes from Cedric. Yes he was indeed a bit too old for her since he was 17 and she was 14, but Nagini couldn't understand the importance of age gaps. She once had this conversation with Ron when she told him that Remus Lupin gave her perfect boyfriend vibes. Ron's eyes went huge with disgust "Davina, not to be rude, but I've heard people saying that having crushes on older people is a psychological problem. Same goes vice versa." Although Nagini didn't really care, her perfect excuse was that she doesn't think or work like normal humans do, but obviously she couldn't say that out loud or her whole fake identity will blow up.

Davina didn't lie when she said she is not the dating type. She gets bored very easily, as easy as when she was eating Frank Bryce like she hasn't seen human food in ages but suddenly her appetite run low and threw his remains away. So basically she was going to use as many people as she wanted for entertainment and then dump them when she was done. This was like an alternative to eating humans but the outcome was the same. Satisfaction.

It was nearly time for departure and apparently the ugly boot was the portkey they needed to travel with. Every single one of them took a hold or placed a finger on the magical object. Davina intentionally moved next to Cedric and 'accidentally' put her hand on top of his, but quickly took it away.

"Oh I'm sorry Cedric." She said with a shy smile.

"No worries." He replied with a warm look on his face.

After Mr. Weasley counted 3 seconds, Davina's feet left the ground and started spiraling in every direction there was. She could feel Cedric's shoulder banging into hers and she hopped this feeling will stop soon because she doesn't enjoy not being in control of magic.

They finally touched the ground, Davina falling on her back painfully, but Mr. Weasley, Mr. Diggory, and Cedric were still standing, though looking very windswept. The handsome boy came to her and offered his hand to help her up while keeping his soft expression on his face.

Davina gladly took his hand "Thank you, gentleman." She grinned when he hoisted her up.

"Here at your service." He playfully chuckled and went to help Harry up too.
