Nagini's human legs were exhausted from circling around half of the forest, just to arrive at the exact same spot she has been just a while ago.

She didn't have the time to comprehend the soreness in her entire body, when a sudden glittering light erupted from far away into the sky. Because of the patch of darkness around her, Nagini was slightly blinded by the shine, but ignoring it, she looked up and soon recognized the emerald stars flying up, taking the form of a colossal skull - Voldemort's sign.

But something extraordinary caught her attention. During the First Wizarding War, her father used the Skull as a sign for whenever a crime took place, caused by his  followers or him. It only represented the Dark Lord himself.

But Nagini's glare was staring at something quite different, something that wasn't there years ago. This Skull had its mouth wide open and from it a serpent emerged, protruding and swiftly dancing its form around in the air.

Nagini couldn't believe her eyes. Voldemort changed his sign into their sign. She was already assured how much importance she hold for her father, but she her mind was blown apart at the fact that his giant ego would share his Mark with her.

She was never the emotional type, never enjoyed sharing her thoughts or feelings (because she never had them), but in this exact moment, she felt her eyes watering. The soreness in her body disappeared and was alternated with a tender warmness in her chest. Her inexistent soul  surfaced and spread through her limbs. Nagini felt appreciated. After all of the heavy work she has put herself through just for her father, she finally sensed that her time and patience wasn't wasted in vain. The Dark Lord was grateful for her honest loyalty and all of the help accorded and he knew she deserved her fair share of credit.

What the Wizarding World wasn't aware of was that Voldemort shouldn't be their only concern -  they had yet to meet Nagini, because on the evil side there wasn't just one leader -  there were 2 of them.

And together, they shall be their biggest nightmare.

Pulling away from her thoughts, Nagini came back to reality, remembering she had on more task to complete tonight. Thanking Salazar for the tears streaming down her cheeks(the first ones she ever dropped), she made her way through the damp forest and followed the scent of her best 'friends'. She figured the bloodshot eyes would a be an essential addition to the lies which will follow tonight.

Nagini came to a halt when she finally discovered the sound of multiple voices coming from near her, familiar scents flooding in her nose. Moving closer to the noise, she was glad to find the Ministry alongside a confused looking Harry, Hermione and Ron, and not much to her surprise - the unconscious house-elf Winky.

"Where have you been, Barty?" said Bagman. "Why weren't you at the match? Your elf was saving you a seat too - gulping gargoyles!" Bagman had just noticed Winky lying at his feet. "What happened to her?"

"I have been busy, Ludo," said Mr. Crouch, barely moving his lips. "And my elf has been stunned."

Before making her presence known, Nagini run on the spot to make herself out of breath like earlier this night and thought about her father's sign of gratitude to shake her emotions one again.

"Stunned? By you lot, you mean? But why -?"

"Harry! Harry!"

Every single person turned around at the strange, hitched voice coming from behind the dark trees. The adults pointed the source of the noise, ready to attack if needed, complete opposite to the 3 teenagers who suddenly felt immensely relieved.

"Davina, is that you?" shrieked Hermione. coming closer to the sound.

Emerging from the woods, Davina didn't have time to catch her breath when she was strangled in a tight embrace by Harry, Ron and Hermione.
