Davina and Hermione spent three hours straight in the library documenting themselves on the treatment of House-elves along the centuries – and as they already guessed – they were never such well respected creatures.

"Do you think they are staring at us right now?" asked Davina, suspiciously looking around.

"What?" Hermione mumbled, pulling her head out from a book, too mesmerized by it to hear what her friend said.

"Well we found out by now that house-elves work and clean everything after everyone goes to sleep and it's almost curfew-"

"WHAT?" Hermione yelped, frantically checking her watch, going into panic after realizing how much trouble they would receive if they were saw by a teacher.

The human-snake almost forgot about Madam Pince when she appeared behind a bookshelf. The woman was in shock just as much as Hermione.

"OUT! Leave before I tell McGonagall how late you are! Out with you two!" she urged, throwing her hands as in attempt to make the girls move faster.

"We are so sorry, Madam Pince! We promise this will never happen again!" Hermione begged. Let her be the ruler follower in any situation.

If their idea with the movement will be put into action, then they will definitely be late again and again.

They packed their bags as fast as possible and left with the force of light. At least that was the case for Hermione; Davina just got dragged by her arm to follow behind.

"Hermione, no one is going to see us! Slow the fuck down." Davina pleaded, trying to release herself from her grasp but in vain.

"Davina! First of all, you will get detention for being past curfew and even worse it will be if someone heard you curse! Please don't get in trouble on your first day of school!" Hermione hissed through gritted teeth.

"Imagine if the boys saw you getting detention so soon." Davina sniggered. "It won't be that worse, I'll show you the ways to make Filch nicer to you."

"Ron and Harry would probably think we were snogging in the library."

"You know I'm not against that." Davina teased, pulling Hermione closer by their linked arms till their bodies touched, faces to close proximity, the brunette girl staring deeply into bushy-haired girl's eyes, giving her that look.

Hermione blushed scarlet, too nervous to glance at Davina with the same dominance, acknowledging the experience and power she possessed.

"I'm still not into girls, Davina." Hermione chuckled, pulling her friend's face away with her palm.

"You don't have to be queer to enjoy a good make-out session with your friends." The other girl declared. Truth be told, being unhuman made Nagini not caring much about gender. In her opinion, every single female and male were a sin on the face of Earth, but she didn't deny the attraction she hold for every single one. They all looked the same, the difference being their stuff from their pants. Oh and breasts– truly a gift; they looked so good and were also free anti-stress balls. Exceptionally graceful.

The girls arrived safely in their Gryffindor common room, luckily without any adult noticing them.

"Oh thank God, that was a really close call." Hermione breathed out the air she didn't know she was holding.

"You luck out when you are by my side, Hermione." Davina smirked, fully aware that everyone knew that: the ones that didn't know her real identity and the ones that did. Students at Hogwarts tried to stay as far away as possible from her and her friend group. Many times Ron has thrown a fist at their situation: "Because of you no girl would approach me or Harry! They are afraid you'll bite them or something."
