Place: The Doorways

Time: Earlier that day.

At the end of the large dark oval room sat a dark figure on a throne. On either side of him were 2 doors, one emanated a dark purple aura, and the other emanated a white aura. This man, being, wore a black cloak which draped over the chair. Alongside the chair, standing up right unassisted was a staff with a pale black gem at the top. This figure was lifeless in every possible way, he didn't move, didn't breath, didn't blink and there was almost a black aura around him as well at odds with the doors.

The walls in the room wept blood through several orifices. Creatures crawled along their ceiling on four legs. Their almost snake like features gave the effect of the slithering snakes along the ceiling and floor.

A door at the opposite end opened and another robbed figure walked in followed by 3 others, a hulking figure whose mouth was sown shut and axes infused into his hands, an almost medieval looking knight wearing a cape, light armor and  carrying a broadsword at his side and lastly a woman with long black hair, latex clothes and 2 pistols at her hips.

The robed figure seemed to look exactly like the one in the chair, also holding a cane, but this one with a white gem in it.

They all stood around the figure in the chair forming a circle with the throne at the head.

"It's time to begin, the Eclipse will start in a few hours." The standing robed figure spoke.

"Yes" The woman said, "The setting is beautiful, the books we need will finally reveal themselves during the darkest hour. Our greatest threat, however, are those three children and they all happen to be headed to the same place.. The school"

The man with the cape spoke up next. "I don't see how those 3 are actually a threat, it was almost dumb luck that they all survived last night"

"I've foreseen it Seig. These three will try to get the books for themselves, but don't worry, everything will go according to plan." The man with the staff said.

"Have you ever wondered what would happened if we didn't try to assassinate them last night? They wouldn't have been as prepared as they are now." Seig refuted.

"Sieg, don't worry" The woman comforted with a smile. "We will break them, subject them torment so great, they may even end their own lives to escape. That's how we win. Why do you think we have the monsters."

"Psychological terrors are often times worse then physical ones. Demoralization can turn the tides on any battle" The hooded figure stated.  "Sasha, make sure you take out the electricity in the affected areas, then head to Baylor Hospital and get the site ready as the second antenna point for the second summoning."

"Seig, head to the school and make sure the demon stays out of site until the eclipse is complete. Without the completed eclipse, the creates power is not complete. Use whatever means necessary to defeat the children." He continued. "Do you all understand your orders?"

"Yes Master" The 2 said in unison followed by an affirmative grunt by the hulking monstrosity.

The 3 left leaving the man with the staff by himself.  He turned to the lifeless body sitting in the chair and grinned.

These fools have no idea my true intentions. They are all puppets. Just like this body I'm in. But my real body is running out of time.

Meanwhile:

Place: Townview

Time: 12:13

Rain poured outside the school so violently, the teaches bayed us stay away from the windows during our lunch hour. Above the lunch room, the rain pounded on the skylights as if it were hail banging on an aluminum overhang, the sound was almost deafening. Normally one could see Downtown from here but the with the eclipse and the rain, outside was pitch black. I doubted I could see my hand in front of my face should I try. Although, as I was walking back to my classroom, something moving caught my attention outside, it almost appeared that there was a figure walking outside, meandering. I could feel the hairs on the back of my neck raise.
