Place: Somewhere in the darkness
Time: Does it exist here?
The door on the right, the one with the white aura shown greater than before, eclipsing the half of the statue in a white light. The purple aura, while the same, was slightly repulsed by the white light.
The standing robed figure looked over the statue of himself. He moved to the staff with pale black gem and touched his own staff with the white gem to it. A new orb emanated in the center of the room, one that showed a hospital from the outside.
He saw a woman in latex standing over the body of Seig who had recently been slain by Vahn. Sasha merely shook her head at the site got up and looked at the hospital proper.
The hospital was Sasha's work, she planned every detail the children would face, and each path would eventually lead to her to finish them off.
The hooded figure smiled. His game was going well. The book of Hell was in their possession and soon the next section with it.
He turned and looked at the monstrosity behind him, the speechless man. "Head to the executive tower and get it ready should Sasha fail." he said. "The book there has already revealed itself and it needs time to charge to bring the planes together. Protect it at all costs."
The hulky thing with dual axes nodded only as his mouth was sealed shut.
The robbed man had to keep up the guise that the books themselves were what brought the planes together, but he had other plans with the books. Plans known only to him.
Place: Hospital, Lower floors.
Time: Early Evening.
Tamara watched Vahn and Jeremy disappear as the elevator doors closed. She was down here alone.
"My shoes are totally soaked and I'm ready to take this drenched backpack off" Tamara wined. "And my clothes are stuck to my body. I know it looks sexy, "she admired herself, "but it's damn uncomfortable."
Water was starting to flood into the building; her shoes splashed in it as she walked. She turned to the left from the elevator and looked down the corridor. The various lights on the ceiling seemed to be filled and leaking with a dark watery substance; those that weren't filled with the liquid were dimly light showing a path around another L-Shaped hallway.
"I don't even know where to begin with this," she tried to steady herself as her father taught her but it wasn't working.
"What's the first rule of everything?" She said his words allowed.
"Don't panic" She answered herself.
In the line of duty, panic got you killed or caused you to make mistakes. He would be proud that these words came back to her now.
She sloshed through the water on the floor as she made her way down the hall, trying door after door, each locked or blocked by something on the other side. There were no noises, no sounds, no indications she was going the right way, until she looked back up at the lights again. Behind her, no lights were on, in front of her, the dim lights still provided guidance.
She came to the end of the hall to the corner that turned sharply to the right, all that was there was a door that had an emergency exit sigh above still lit. She pushed it opened to find stairs going down and as she did, the water started draining down those stairs.
She grabbed her flashlight and shined it down the stairs. The darkness revealed nothing but walls on either side and a void below.
"This doesn't look inviting, I have to push and go" She got her baton on and extended it, ready to attack anything. her gun was in the new holster she grabbed from the police station.
